Several years ago the family of the late Bob Hope put his Coachella Valley home up for sale for the giant price of $50,000,000. That’s a lot of money, but the home is a whopping 23,000 sq ft and was designed by one of LA’s most dynamic architect, John Lautner.
People tend to refer to it as the spaceship house, but it looks like an office conference center. But that’s besides the point. This masterpiece was bought for the basement price of $13,000,000!
Topped by a curving copper roof, the futuristic vibe house includes 10 bedrooms and 13 full or partial bathrooms. There are fireplaces in the great room and master bedroom.
