Maybe I misspoke (mistyped?) in that headline, actually. Taylor Swift‘s GQ shoot doesn’t necessarily leave anything to be desired, because I don’t know what more you could want. It’s vanilla as shit and faux-sexy in the worst way. GQ is known as a sexy dude’s mag, but Swift is keeping it classy and also making sure her belly button is still under wraps in the new shots, which she shared on her Instagram page yesterday.
Frankly, I’m really ready for Taylor to take a long hiatus from music. I’m not going to lie like 1989 wasn’t one of THE best albums of the year, but I’m also not going to say she hasn’t oversaturated the industry to the point that everyone is pretty sick of the sight of her. No shade – it happens to Beyonce all the time. It’s always nice to take a step back and let people get used to the world without you again, so that it’s actually nice to see you when you come back, right?
By the way, the interview that ran with this story was fucking exhausting. In it, she refused to say who “Bad Blood” is about, even though we all know and it’s old news. If you want to torture yourself and read it anyway, be my guest.
