I nearly didn’t provide an update on Lamar Odom‘s condition, as not much has changed from yesterday. Lamar is still in a coma, his organs are still failing, and he’s made no improvements since being admitted to hospital on Tuesday, which isn’t a good sign. The doctors are still saying there’s roughly a 50/50 chance of survival, but it’s unclear how much brain damage he’s suffered if he does manage to wake up, so it’s hardly a positive sign. Instead, it’s reported that Khloe Kardashian, the only one in the family still by Lamar’s side, is “preparing for the worst”.
Odom, 35, is breathing with the help of a ventilator as his ex Khloé Kardashian remains by his side, according to a source close to the family.
“It’s hard for Khloé. He is on his last leg,” the source tells PEOPLE.
“Everyone wanted to hope for the best, but nothing has changed. Now they are preparing for the worst,” the source says.
“Khloé has always loved him,” the source says. “And that has never changed and if he didn’t have issues, they would be together. She’s devastated.”
Not much else to say that hasn’t already been said. This is really sad and was entirely preventable. Such a shame.
