Kylie Jenner only turned 18 last month, and while her birthday marked her already three year long relationship with 25-year-old Tyga becoming legal, she’s kinda bummed that she’s not 17 anymore. After all, who would want to get older when being young is so fun? Unfortunately, Kylie knows she’s got no chance of that, and that being in the Kardashian family has basically turned her into a 45-year-old before her time.
“The reality is that I don’t even want to be 18. I wish I could be 17 for the rest of my life. I don’t want to get any older. I just want to be young and enjoy it, but this lifestyle absolutely made me grow up faster,” she says. And I believe her. “For me, age is just a number.”
I mean, age is more than just a number in the eyes of the law, but I guess that’s neither here nor there.
So what inspires adult Kylie in her day-to-day life? Well, it’s gotta be big sister Kim, on whom she’s modeled basically every aspect of her own life, to a terrifying degree.
“Kim has definitely inspired the business side of me the most,” Kylie explains. “It’s her work ethic. If she wants to do something, she goes out and does it. She’s really smart in that way.”
“Do you have Kim’s work ethic? Is that something that comes naturally to you?” I ask.
“Well, my mom has raised us all like that. I am definitely like that. I need to be doing some type of work all the time. If I’m not working for two weeks, I freak out. But I also love having down time with friends,” she tells me.
Wow. The whole interview is full of some golden quotes, like Kylie talking about what a great sense of style she has, and that she gets to do so many amazing things that most 18-year-olds don’t get to do… like getting her makeup done. Sounds like a wonderfully fulfilling existence, eh?
On another note, Kris Jenner is apparently THRILLED with Kylie’s relationship with Tyga, who Kris proclaims to be a “hip hop genius” and thought his song “Stimulated” about fucking her teenage daughter was just fine. Christ almighty.
Kris Jenner “thought the song was a little much,” she’s also been supportive of the couple’s relationship despite the large age difference.
“There’s not much she could say since Kylie is an adult now,” says the source. “Kris actually supports their relationship big time.”
Adds the source: “She thinks he is the next hip hop genius of our generation and wants to do anything she can to help him succeed.”
What is this world we live in?
