This is a rather delicious story, I think you’ll have to admit. Donald Trump is an absolute tyrant who, somehow, has managed to gain some kind of stronghold in the Republican party and will likely get their nomination in the upcoming presidential election, showing just how slim the pickins really are. He’s a hateful, vile human being that treats women and people of colour like shit, among other things, and more and more (normal) people are starting to notice. To that end, Trump has officially been fired from The Celebrity Apprentice, according to a statement released by NBC this week.
If you remember, Trump was already fired by NBC last month, ceasing their airing of the Miss USA pageants and The Apprentice, but it was believed that the celeb version would continue. Not so much!

NBC entertainment chairman, Bob Greenblatt, had two words Thursday on whether Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump would ever return as host of “The Celebrity Apprentice:” Absolutely not.
Greenblatt said that the show will not be back next season, but will return in the future with a new host.
Greenblatt said he enjoyed working with Trump when the network was still in business with him.
“He is a lovely guy. He was very much a collaborator and worked with us closely on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ and, you know, there’s a really effusive great guy. We weren’t in any sort of adversarial position.”
Wow. Greenblatt sounds like a real winner. Donald Trump is a “lovely guy”? In what universe? Sorry, but a man who thinks it’s okay to call women fat pigs and say that all Mexicans are rapists and drug dealers can in no way ever be described as “lovely”. In fact, the words I have in mind for him are quite the opposite.
