Kate Moss was flying with Easy Jet, the UK budget airline that you wouldn’t expect anyone with any money and/or sense to fly with, over the weekend when she decided to get a bit too wild and had to be forcibly removed upon landing. The flight, which had come into London’s Luton airport from Turkey, turned bad when Kate demanded alcohol and was refused, sparking a major row which ended with the supermodel referring to a flight attendant as a “basic bitch”. Kate Moss called the pilot of an easyJet flight a ‘basic b****’ as she was led off the plane after drinking vodka she pulled from her cabin luggage, fellow passengers have said.
The 41-year-old supermodel was flying back from Bodrum, Turkey – where she had been celebrating the 50th birthday of actress friend Sadie Frost – when the incident happened.
She was escorted from the plane by police at Luton Airport after becoming ‘disruptive’, causing the pilot to phone ahead and ask officers to meet the flight. No arrests were made.
A fellow passenger on flight EZY2232 has claimed Moss was refused alcohol and poured herself vodka from her cabin luggage before the incident.
She told MailOnline: ‘She called the pilot a “basic b****” as police led her off the plane, she was a little drunk and had a disagreement with another passenger on the flight as she was refused alcohol and then went to serve her own vodka from her cabin luggage.
‘But she was not aggressive to anyone and was funny really, the easyJet crew was acting out of proportion.’
An easyJet spokesman said yesterday: ‘EasyJet can confirm that police met flight EZY2232 from Bodrum to London Luton today due to the behaviour of a passenger onboard.’
UMMM, I love this story. Kate is a 41-year-old woman who is still acting like a hot mess, and that’s tragic, but there’s just so much to love about this. The fact that a millionaire is flying EasyJet, the fact that she loves alcohol that much that she kicked off about it, the claim that she was apparently swigging vodka from her luggage after the crew wouldn’t give her booze… I mean, who does that? Kate Moss does, apparently. Maybe she should take some of her own advice and stop being an asshole.
