Well, this is certainly… something. Lindsay Lohan is back in New York to complete over 100 hours of community service, and though she lied about when she arrived, she’s there now and ready to get down to business. Incidentally, she’s also ready to explore Islam, as she’s been walking around carrying a copy of the Quran. And, of course, she’s been posting Arabic phrases and whatnot on her social media for a while now:

So what does it all mean? Well, likely nothing.
Despite reading the Muslim text, she is apparently not “fully converting” to Islam.
A spokesperson for Lohan told The Independent: “To my knowledge she is not considering fully converting to Islam, but I know she has been taking a keen interest in the Arabic culture of late.”
I love that Lindsay’s spokespeople are not even pretending to entertain her bullshit. Plus, you and I both know “taking a keen interest” is code for something Lindsay’s fixating on until she gets tired of it and moves on to the next thing. And hey, we all did that… when we were teenagers. Lindsay is 28. It’s messy.
Of course, this isn’t to say that people can’t discover spirituality/religion and convert, but I’m sorry, I can’t take anything Lindsay says/does seriously.
