Jimmy Kimmel had two surgeries on his dick

Sometimes I wish celebrities had more sense than to share stories that are clearly personal and do not need to be in the public domain. Take Jimmy Kimmel – I suppose he thinks it’s hilarious to tell the public about the two surgeries he had on his dick, but… is it honestly? Do you feel any better knowing about it? I’m gonna go ahead say a big fat NOPE.

From E! Online:

You see, the late-night talk show host mentioned during a panel at South by Southwest over the weekend that the hole in his private part once closed up.

Yes, closed up.

I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t ask Kimmel about it yesterday when I caught up with him from the SXSW set of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“It just kind of closed up on it’s own,” he explained. “I don’t know why it happened. I still don’t know why.”

“The guy said, ‘Your urethra’s closing up and you need it operated on,’ and they did,” Kimmel recalled. “And then they said, ‘Yeah, we didn’t get it, it didn’t quite work. We need to do it again.’ And they did it again.”

“I’m a real pee hole,” Kimmel cracked, before adding, “It’s a horrible process by the way—a horrible horrible process.”

Tee hee! COMEDY! I mean, it sounds like an awful experience, but… I could’ve done without this deep knowledge.

  • Are you fucking kidding me? How in your mind is talking about a medically issue a bad thing? like of course he’s a comedian so he will make a joke about it but how can you praise Angelina Jolie for talking about her breasts and having surgery on them for medical reasons and then be like oh dicks are inappropriate?

I’ve been trying to work out forever if you are actually some kind of troll or are just genuinely an ignorant bitch. Like I swear half the people here liked the old beet and hate what it has become, but still hate read you and your trash because it’s entertaining, like watching Heidi Montag talk about philosophy or something.

    • YASSSS it’s my dream to be hate read, so you’ve made my day. Do come back again :)

Also, if you can’t tell the difference between breast cancer, which is a MAJOR issue for women around the world, and talking about your urethra closing up, which is a freak incident that’s not a common occurrence, then God bless.

    • I agree with you Ellen. I have been a fan of this site for years, since Sasha started it years ago. I liked her fun style of writing, while still expressing her opinion. Now Jennifer ridicules everyone who does not share her opinion or the politically correct views or what she perceives as “open mindess.” If you disagree she will feel empowered and act like a stubborn little kid. Is not even about her opinions, but how she cannot see the point of view of others. This is akin to Perez Hilton’s site. I only keep coming back hoping she left, but I’m always disappointed she still here, believing she holds the moral high ground and her views are better than everyone else’s. Whatever happened to the other writer that started at the same time as her?

The way the Jimmy Kimmel headline it’s written makes it sound like his surgery was for reasons other than medical necessity. Most people share their medical issues, it just so happens that some people have a much bigger platform than others. If anything, this make Jimmy Kimmel seem more like a real person, with real issues that other me can relate to when it comes to medical penile surgery and the excruciating pain associated with it. You don’t have to write about it, you don’t have to read about it

  • I’m pretty new to the site, so don’t know the former glory of what you speak, but I did just come from another website where everyone is unhappy with something (in that case:new layout). So I can tell you this: complaining to the writer is going to do jack.

I get hate reading. I don’t really get being excited about BEING hate read, but I may just not have that killer instinct. I do NOT get hate commenting. Because that is attention. All attention is good attention in the gossip world, amirite?

  • Wow what a cool and special dream!!! You must be really ~*unique and mysterious*~.

Omg I had no idea about how breast cancer effects women, thanks so much for educating me!!!! You’ve just really changed my outlook on belittling other peoples medical conditions on the basis that they are not effecting millions of women. That whole ALS thing is pretty redundant too yeah? Or basically any other condition that isn’t considered important and worth discussing in your mind.

nz I have the exact same feelings as you about the direction the site has taken. I just find her views so inconsistent and hypocritical ugh. don’t know what happened to her but she was really good :/ . I totally agree with you on Jimmy Kimmel, ALL medical conditions deserve respect and it is really awesome when celebrities talk about them to bring awareness and a sense of normality to experiencing them.

I don’t like that I’m hate commenting Kathy, I just find it so frustrating and I just hope she gets replaced. I think its just really sad because it use to really good, it was actually really funny and entertaining and now it has become a site I irregularly hate read and am just disappointed remembering how good it use to be. I’m not holding my breath to try to reason with her because I seriously doubt she can be reasoned with, it’s just venting. I do realise she does enjoy and crave attention with the whole *~dream*~ thing so it’s a weird catch 22. WHERE ARE YOU SASHA????
