People will always want to make money off of celebrities in any way they can. Music is a particularly easy course for the money grubber, because you can claim a famous song is a lot like one you wrote but never released/no one cared about, and that’s what’s happened with Beyonce. Everyone knows the self-titled album gives the Beyhive life, and ‘XO’ is one of the most beloved tracks on the album. Well, apparently she stole that song, according to a new lawsuit.

A background singer named Ahmad Javon Lane claims he wrote a song called “XOXO” and shared it with another singer who does background vocals for Beyonce.
It’s a short story. He says in his lawsuit the song ended up in Beyonce’s hands and she ripped him off with what he says is a copycat song, “XO.”
He wants at least $3 million.

Not the first time she’s been accused of this, but I agree those songs do not sound that similar.
The only thing similar about these songs is they both suck.
