Well, that didn’t take long. Less than 18 months after giving birth to Prince George, it seems that Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting their second child. Hurrah!
Here’s what royal officials said in a statement:
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
Here’s hoping this second pregnancy is a little easier for Kate – she had a really hard time and was pretty ill for much of the first time around. Also, I hope it’s a girl – then they’ll have the perfect little family (and they can also avoid another William/Harry situation). Yay!
