Well, this is a bit of a weird one. Katie Holmes and Jason Segel are apparently dating? Well, that’s what everyone was saying, anyway. This all stemmed from the fact that Katie filmed a guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother back in 2011, leading people to claim in 2014 that they’ve been dating on and off since?
It’s a pretty stupid claim, and no surprise that it seems to be entirely untrue:
“The story is completely untrue,” Holmes’ rep Leslie Sloane tells Us Weekly. “The two have not spoken since she appeared on How I Met Your Mother.”
Well, this is one denial I can get behind. I mean, this is the biggest reach I’ve seen in a long ass time.
Don’t forget that Katie was still married and Jason was with Michelle Williams (BEST COUPLE EVER) for a lot of that time. Not that people can’t and don’t have affairs, but you know.
LAME. Besides, we all know Katie is with Jamie Foxx, right? LOL.
