Murder, She Wrote, is being remade, and let’s just say it’s not Angela Lansbury’s…cup of tea. GET IT???

No, but seriously, she seems pissed. Here’s what she said about the whole thing, via LA Times:

I think it’s a mistake to call it ‘Murder, She Wrote,’ because ‘Murder, She Wrote’ will always be about a Cabot Cove and this wonderful little group of people who told those lovely stories and enjoyed a piece of that place, and also enjoyed Jessica Fletcher, who is a rare and very individual kind of person. So I’m sorry that they have to use the title ‘Murder, She Wrote,’ even though they have access to it and it’s their right.

Oh, snap!

YEAH THAT’S RIGHT, WE’RE BRINGING YOU ANGELA LANSBURY GOSSIP. Don’t pretend some of y’all don’t love Murder, She Wrote. Are you gonna watch the remake?

She is so beautiful! Especially considering she is in her late 80′s. Makes sense considering how gorgeous she was when she was younger.

I used to watch this show when I was home sick from school, so it reminds me of chicken noodle soup and my warm comforter. That said, I think it’s rather ungracious of Lansbury to make such a comment. It’s not like they are turning the show into a neon-lit strip tease. I’m sure the new series, with an exceptional actress (Octavia Spencer), will be a treat for all.

Now I’m going to find some chicken noodle soup…….
