Celine Dion is a total queen all on her own and doesn’t need help from anyone, but I suppose when your label is wanting a hit, they’ll go for even the most bizarre ideas. Recently, Celine teamed up with Ne-Yo for a duet on a song called ‘Incredible’ because that apparently seemed like a good thing. I’m not a Ne-Yo fan, but he has made some hits so I’m not 100% against him. I just think Celine doesn’t need to be teamed up with anyone to be amazing.
Here’s what Ne-Yo had to say to Digital Spy about it:
“It’s her and me on one song, which was a challenge to say the least. I was trying to figure what I was even doing there – why would they need my voice when they have hers?”
“She wanted to do the song as a duet and I was flattered, but it definitely made me question my vocal ability.”
