Katy Perry performed ‘Roar‘ – most definitely the song of the summer, I’m calling it now – at the MTV Video Music Awards last night. Well, sort of at them. She was actually down at Brooklyn Bridge Park, which is gorgeous at night. It was a boxing-themed performance and the vocals aren’t really all that top notch, but they’re definitely decent – especially considering she has a jump roping interlude that I would have had to lie down after. Love her, love this song.
I have to say, Prism is going to be AMAZING, just like Teenage Dream was, and I can’t wait until she tours because I’mma be on that ticket pre-sale like flies on shit. Have you warmed up to ‘Roar’ yet, or what?
