I don’t watch The Mindy Project because Mindy Kaling leaves a bad taste in my mouth (an annoying one). I’m particularly glad about my ignorance of this show at this point now that they’ve announced that former Mr. Kim Kardashian himself, Kris Humphries, has signed a deal to appear on the show. Just… why?

Something tells us Kim Kardashian won’t be tuning into The Mindy Project this season.
Her ex-husband, NBA player Kris Humphries, has signed on to guest-star on an upcoming episode of the Fox sophomore comedy, TVGuide.com has learned.
Humphries, 28, will play himself, and joins previously announced guest stars James Franco and Happy Endings‘ Adam Pally.
This will mark Humphries’ first scripted series gig, and one of his first TV appearances since his time on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and its spin-off, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, when he was with Kardashian.
Well, that seems… worthwhile. I love that they felt the need to point out that it’s his first SCRIPTED TV appearance, and also the fact that no one will ever discuss him without bringing up the fact that he was married to Kim. Tough break, bro. But then, he probably wouldn’t have gotten this gig without his sham marriage, so it all worked out in the end.
Aw no I do like The Mindy Show, it’s a fun watch when you don’t want to have to think a lot.
