Farrah Abraham‘s young daughter – who unwittingly brought her mother the ‘fame’ she so hungrily chases these days – has so much to be proud of as she grows older. A mother who did an MTV reality show in which she treated her own mother like absolute shit, a
sex tape porno, a DUI case and endless desperate grabbings for more attention (Oops, I’m in my bikini – what are you paparazzi doing here?!) – someone book baby Sophia into therapy, like, now.
The DUI case found its resolution earlier this week when Farrah pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in Nebraska and stuck a plea deal with prosecutors. TMZ has the scoop (as per usual):
Farrah Abraham just pled GUILTY in her Nebraska DUI case — and as a result, she’s been ordered to stay ALCOHOL-FREE for six whole months, TMZ has learned.
We broke the story … the former MTV star turned porn queen had struck a plea deal with prosecutors — and got probation instead of jail stemming from her March arrest.
As part of the deal, Farrah was sentenced to 6 months probation, a $500 fine, and was ordered to install an ignition interlock device in her car — one of the machines that requires the driver to submit to a breath test before the engine will start.
The judge in the case also required 22-year-old Farrah to not consume one single drop of alcohol during her probation.
Farrah was initially charged with disorderly conduct and refusing to take a field sobriety test — but those charges were dropped as part of the plea deal.
I’m not sure how they monitor these things and I’m sure she’ll find a way around it, but in general, I don’t know what possesses people to drink and then get behind the wheel of a car. I had an dream about driving last night and I wasn’t even drunk in it, I was just trying to drive a car (from the passenger’s seat?) and it was super anxiety-inducing so I don’t want to talk about it anymore, lol. I know alcohol makes people do dumb ass shit but I personally think that if you drive drunk, your license should be SUSPENDED for those six months, at least, to give you time to think about how little you valued your own life and the lives of other people on the road. This girl is the worst.
