Frances Bean Gives Careere Advice to Ali Lohan

Frances Bean Cobain took to her Twitter account — it’s now deleted, probably due to her inability to keep it to 140 characters or less — as a means to communicate to Ali Lohan that “notaritey” for who you are is not something to strive for.  Here’s her diatribe:

This is my open letter to Ali Lohan.
Your not entitled to anything simply because your sister has a recognizable name. Your idea of fame isn’t fame. It’s infamy. You want to be famous? Work your ass off and make decisions that could potentially catapult your career into a lasting one. Notariety for who you are and notaritey for the work you produce are two completely differnt things. I understand that you have been brought up in an envirtoment where the idea of fame is easily achievable but, that’s not an excuse. You lack the talent, social understanding and credibility to be anything other then infamous. Your careere choices, thus far, will transcend a future career as someone who attempted to be famous, but never quite achieved it. And if you do, it will be the formality of fame that puts you on the covers of tabloids, while the public idly watches you plumit into the murky abyss shared with the likes of Spencer Pratt & Jon Gosslin who, i’m sure, will steal your money whilst there. Fortunately for the world, there are people who have and don’t have recognizable names, who have obtained artistic integrity and will one day, hopefully, bring that tangible artisticness into light again. Though, its hard to think thats achievable when people like You ali lohan are rendering the world of true talent by attempting to make your entitled ass noticed. How is this fair to the people who HAVE artistic integrity, or a mind? How is it fair to those who truly have something to offer the human race other then a dwindling last name and a few shitty films, both of which, solidified the idea that your just a celebrities sibling. I recognize that i might come across as harsh and no, i don’t personally know you, but its the actions that you take, that speak for you. You blatently don’t care how your recognized, its the objective to get famous and that is what makes you replaceable and a recycled idea .Well, im ashamed to have to be grouped into the same category of person as you. I would rather die a most painful death the be assoicated with the kind of careere your trying to make for your self. I hope i’m wrong because generally i’m not a very judgmental person, but in the case of you, that is MY entitlement.

Apparently, FBC has nothing better to do — she’s certainly not attending remedial grammar classes — than to take to the Internet to pick on unparented 15 year olds.  Trust me, Frances … no one is lumping you in the same category as Ali Lohan.  Generally, I think the public feels really bad for Ali as she was “raised” in a neglectful environment by a totally out-to-lunch, over-bleached, nonsensical “mother” who has no sense of appropriate boundaries.  Oh, wait …

  • Kind of curious what Ali did to prompt this interesting observation from Frannie. I totally agree with her, Ali comes across as a snot nosed troll hanging on Lindsays coattails.

  • Geez – who the hell does spell correctly anymore – furthermore, who cares? I’ve read so many posts from bloggers who misspell words constantly and nobody seems to give a shit. Seriously, get over it.
Frances Bean said a mouthfull and I have to agree with her on everything – I’m willing to bet money on the fact that she will do more with her life than Ali Lohan ever will.

    • Yes, lots of bloggers misspell words or have grammar issues occasionally, but Frances comes across as poorly educated. Her screed is filled with spelling errors and grammar issues.

I also wouldn’t bet she’s above having major life issues, as she has Courtney Love for a mom and Kurt Cobain for a dad.

So far, though, she’s doing pretty well.

  • I actually think it was generally well -written, only the grammatical and spelling errors and odd word choices that makes it seem like she’s throwing around all the big worlds she knows (someone explain “formality of fame” and “rendering the world of true talent” to me?) that unfortunately take away from her (suprisingly) sound opinion.

  • Hey Kurt Cobain’s daughter, I’ve got news for you. You are exactly the same as Ali Lohan except a little more “indie” Kids need to STFU.

  • Considering there are bloggers on this site that have grammatical and misspelled words all the time, you may want to just sit back and close your mouth. Everything that she said in this was spot on. She may have Courtney for a mother but I think she’s proven that she is above all the bullshit.

  • I just can’t believe how pretty she’s grown up to be. Her eyes are totally stunning. Anyway… she’s fairly apt in her assessment of the Ali Lohan situation. However, you’d think the irony would be too much for her to actually put that into words.

  • I think the best thing to do would be get these two girls together and let them fight it out — like 2 retards in a gym locker room. Both are big dummies.

  • All I can think is she writes more coherently than her mother. Granted that’s not a huge feat—but it’s more than I dared to hope.

  • I’m guessing the public doesn’t feel really bad for her because most of the public probably doesn’t know who she is. I mean, I only know Lindsay Lohan because she used to make movies before she stopped getting work and aged 30 years.

  • i would say it’s a typo since she spelled it right the first time the word was used in the paragraph.

and like someone else said… why are the witters of this site picking on spelling mistakes.

pot? have you met mr. kettle?

  • “Your not entitled”? Your??? LOL my advice to her is go back to spelling school you dumbass.

It was funny reading that shit..

  • Yeah, I dunno… I personally am rooting for lil’ Frances Bean. Why?
Well, others have eloquently stated the case.

And, besides the grammar and spelling (yes, improvement needed here), some appropriate sentiments were expressed. Good. Why delete the Twitter account? Not sure what happened there.

In general, Go Frances Bean Go!

  • DUDES get the feck over the spelling and grammar! her heart’s in the right place. she knows full well that she could pull an Ali ’cause they’re in the same fucked up money boat, but she’s obviously trying to take a different path. Ali’s a retard & needs this shit s-p-e-l-l-e-d o-u-t f-o-r h-e-r. errors or not, this little chick is trying to help someone from her generation to take her skank head out of her ass.

  • Please tell me what frannie has ever done or worked for in her life? Nothing. I think she needs she needs to learn how to spell and some self-awareness. Pot/kettle.
I also didn’t realize a 15 year old was supposed to do anything but be a teenager.

  • By writing that she shows she is infinitely more intelligent, thoughtful and coherent that her mother is, which she deserves congratulations for, IMO.

  • wait are you really taking ali lohan’s side over frances bean? because comparing their situations is just ridiculous.

  • Ok so Frances Bean may not have actually done anything, exactly what she’s bagging on Ali for, BUT she’s also not all over the place trying to be seen.
How often do we hear about her?
Out of a lot of kids in Hollywood she’s one that could have completely gone off the rails considering what she has grown up with, dad killing himself, mental druggie mother and crazy Nirvana fans (which I’m sure she has problems from) but she has managed to, so far, not do what so many other young people have.
Only time will tell if that changes and I have to say for someone her age she seems to have her head firmly planted on her shoulders and not up her arse.

  • Someone has the jealous bug. I look on this site everyday and this is the first time I have even heard of Frances Bean! Who is this person?? Obviously someone who wants some attention!

    • She’s Kurt Cobain’s daughter, she gets more than enough attention.

I like her. She seems really level headed despite her crazy ass mother. And she’s damn eloquent for a 17 year old.

    • the first time you’ve heard of her? that’s a GOOD thing actually…….ya see…the girl is able to stay out of the headlines a.k.a. TROUBLE. that is why, miss d, you’ve never heard about her. then someone in her age group crosses major boundaries (15 years old, plastic surgery, dressin’ like a hooker & making the covers of tabloid magazines, yada yada) and she feels the need to speak up…

that is SO. very. RAD! of her!!!

i’m sorry, i gotta say it again:
      i dig it.

      i really

  • P.S. Google “ali lohan”, then click on “images”. seriously……it’s pathetic.

  • Yeah I agree with what a few people have said. Apart from the crazy spelling I like what she has said here. I totally think that it can apply to both Lohans!

I hardly think its a pot/kettle situation, how often do you hear about Frances being a dick and going out to clubs and being a skank compared to Ali Lohan?

All the Lohans need to go far far far away

  • i dont care what she does but if she wipes off the excess lipstick that would be a good start thanks

  • I’m not entirely sure people find it socially acceptable to be able to spell anymore. It is few and far between when I find someone who doesn’t spell like a remedial kindergarten student.
In any case who really cares about any of this stuff? It saddens me to see how many people actually warship the idea of the celebrity. Here we are sitting at a computer gawking at this new drama that will only hold our attention for an entire five minutes before our attention spans tug our minds to something even less intelligent and pointless than before. Here’s to our generations degeneration

  • I think her writing seems ambitious and articulate even with the other problems. Writes much better than her mom. I’m just happy it wasn’t, “omg u r such a slut u make sik ur sister is a slut ur mom i aslut omg u shood just kill urself u r so slutty and gross omg ppl like u make me so sic gross”. Frances might be near the top of her class. Considering her heritage I’m amazed she’s not a Lindsay x20.
