Today's Evil Beet Gossip

Jason Schwartzman Marries

Jason Schwartzman, best known for his roles in I Heart Huckabees and Marie Antoinette (he was the saving grace in that flick), just announced that he wed his long-term girlfriend Brady Cunningham, July 11th at their San Fernando Valley home.

I give Schwartzman credit for a couple of things:  1) He flew under the radar for over a month — he’s not A-list but it’s still an impressive feat, and 2)  He married a completely normal, natural looking woman.  It even looks like her rack might be an original.  So un-Hollywood.

Congrats to the happy couple!

  • Whatever Beet, the man is best know for Rushmore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And he’s pretty A-list Hollywood, if you look at his film and music record and who he works with.. Oh, yeah, and he’s FF Coppola’s nephew, which means he’s cousins with Nicholas Cage and Sofia Coppola. He’s just not A-List to the gossip rags because he never does anything worth gossiping about.

And i am happy for him and his normalness. Congrats!!!!!

  • I agree, Rushmore for the win. I think he also has a band now. I’ve not heard the music but another Blogger swears they are fabulous.

Anyway, kudos to the happy couple and…… (I can’t help it) Let’s hope the offspring get her nose.

  • So Jason isn’t best known for Rushmore? I guess that means Francis Ford Coppola is now best known as a wine maker, Sofia Coppola is best known for her acting in The Godfather Part III and Nicolas Cage is best known for his work in the Ghost Rider movie.

Taking it out of the Coppola family, George Clooney is best known for his brief supporting role on The Facts of Life, Madonna is best known for her work as a childrens book author, and Eddie Murphy is best known for The Adventures of Pluto Nash.

  • Jason used to be the drummer for Phantom Planet but now he has a solo project called Coconut Records and it is fantastic. He has been amazing since Rushmore, but every can have their own “what he’s best known for”. Mmkay? I’ve loved him forever.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I feel like I am the only person on earth that has a massive raging crush on this man. I not only loved him in Marie Antoinette, but I especially loved him in Shop Girl… It’s okay though… congrats go out to him and his new wife who gets to run her fingers through his gorgeous long hair on a daily basis… ugh, now back to shia… (god, I’m so embarrassed!)

  • Oh no!
I’m happy for him and all but man, I had no idea he even had a girlfriend. My chances just got that much smaller.

He’s so good-looking, it kills me.
