Apparently Efron agreed to marry her after being bullied by Vanessa’s mother, which seems odd as her daughter is only twenty years old and her man is just a year older. It’s not as if these kids have a completely dim future if they were to seperate and be on their own, or say, I dunno… not rush things?

I think Vanessa’s mom is Filipino, they are usually Catholic and IF she thinks they are sleeping together she would pressure them to marry, which would stop their evil sinning. Although it got them press for doing nothing and you can be engaged for years if neither of you are inclined to marry…
I don’t see any big career for her at all, an I to think he’s not what he’d like his fans and producers to be. He’s trying to become Leonardo and shoot for his career and with his talent it’s not going to happen. He’s got a few things coming out, (he he) and that will be the acid test to see if he can transition into adult roles. I find him an incredibly boring actor, learns lines – hit mark – the end. Boring.

They are NOT engaged… Their publicists both denied it! Seriously Zac said that he is not getting married until he’s 40 and Vanessa stated that she is too young to get married! Just like back in April that ppl were saying that they got engaged in Japan and that they would get married in September, and just like a while before HSM2 came out. Evey few months ppl will say that they got engaged or that the tied the knot secretly (ex, zac’s agent’s wedding in hawaii)
so, what if they are engaged or not…?? nobody cares… they are the most unattractive couple…
