This weekend it was announced that singer LeAnn Rimes and her hubby of eight years (!), Dean Shemeret are separated. After years of speculation regarding Dean’s sexuality and rumors of LeAnn cheating recently, it seems that the couple has decided to finally, and reluctantly, throw in the towel.
LeAnn made her first statement regarding the split at the Deer County Music Festival in Utah yesterday, saying to the crowd
You know, I think that you will all really be able to relate to this next song in your lives. You probably know it’s inevitable that in a relationship, sometimes you will have your heart broken at some point. Sometimes, you might say that you can’t do anything and sometimes, you want revenge. Sometimes, you say, ‘You’re not worth it.’ But sometimes, you don’t, and that’s when you leave it in God’s hands and know that he will take care of it.
While friends and family of LeAnn seem hopeful that she will work it out, they are quick to point out that she was married at just nineteen years old and that their split makes sense given the changes people naturally go through as they move through their twenties.
Now who do we think she’s going to rebound with?

I remember when she got married. I was really surprised, actually (I was 19 back then, too). Honestly, it’s incredible their marriage lasted eight years.
Yeah, good luck with Eddie Cibiran or what ever his name is. Lifetime movie channel hunks aren’t going to keep her in style with spousal support and child support.
Lee Ann’s hubby is gay, or said to be gay. She married him when she was estranged from her family, sued them for mismanaging her money, I think she just needed a trusted friend an companion, which she has and now she wants an adult relationship. To bad it looks like she’s going to be slumming with Eddie and tarnish her rep for a while. It’s always sad when kids are involved, they’re the ones that suffering in these little two acts.
If I had a gay husband, and Eddie Cibrian wanted to f*ck me, I’d be in his bed in a New York minute.
I have always been a fan of Leanns & always will. She has gone thru a lot of heart ache & pain thru out her entire career. The country music world unfairly turned their back on her when she branched out with that increditable voice a few years ago. Now all the upcoming stars are doiing the same & are being embraced. I want the best for Leann & for her to be happy. I wished she would have handled things differently but I will always be there for her. The problem I have is she needs to stay away from the dimpled faced cubian eddie!!! He is nothing but TROUBLE!! He is a low-life & fathered two children which he cares nothing about & will easily walk away from to further his own needs. Because of Leann this no name ‘B’ actor is now getting a job on CSI-Miami. Something he could not accomplish on his own! He is going to use Leann, hurt her & possible her career. He already has the promiscuous females blaming Leann for everything & promoting this class-less sub human as a hero. God bless you Leann – you are the greatest!!
