  • I am going to turn on every electrical piece of equipment I have for two hours because this is so stupid. I am getting tired of celebrities who never do without anything lecturing us on “global warming”, which they had to change to “climate change” because of the cold winters. I am just sick of it!!!

    • wow, you go FARMERCARL! Show those ridiculous celebrities trying to raise awareness of our rapidly disintegrating ozone layer which protects us from the suns powerful ultraviolet rays. Contributing to the problem just to spite those trying to help is DEFINITELY the answer.

  • I got a kick out of the PSA’s when I caught them yesterday at Huffington Post. The Janeanne Garafalo one was pretty damn funny, too.
And you can be sick of celebrities spewing this shit all you want, but at least these two in particular practice what they preach.
Climate change is an actual problem, by the way. You should check it out.

  • Possibly the worst ad campaign ever. I heard there’s an even worse follow-up one where she scrapes off her toe cheese and sprinkles it on her pasta.

  • I don’t even care what she was talking about. I HATE feet yet still I watched it…and was extremely appalled. NASTY HEIFER.

  • C’mon guys, she is not *really* clipping toenails. It’s a JOKE. Climate change, however, is not.

But you don’t have to listen to me. Or politicians, or celebrities. But you should listen to scientists who have been warning about greenhouse gas emissions for years.

The point of the PSA was to catch your attention. The next step in critical thinking is to actually alter your behavior. Is an hour really too much to ask? Really?

  • We participated in Earth Hour last year. My kid loved it, we played a board game by candlelight.

And I think the ad is funny.

  • Not that bad!!! I do not like feet, but this wasn’t as bad as watching Frank the Entertainer suck on New York’s toes. God, gag me.

  • That’s funny. I love it, I love when real people do real things. I’d rather this than some celeb in a sequin dress pretending to give a damn.

  • eww – but funny – And to the previous poster, yes at least they practice what they preach
