2008 Playmate Of The Year Jayde Nicole has started a cancer charity, Lengths of Love, where playmates donate their hair in an effort to raise cancer awareness.  What the hell was wrong with Locks of Love?  Anyway, Nicole’s claws were out as she explained why Hef’s twin twits can’t participate in the charity:

“The twins (Hef’s new girlfriends) can’t actually donate their hair, the hair used has to be healthy enough to be retreated and not too over-processed,” Nicole told Tarts. “So we’re doing lots of fundraisers and events as well that everyone (including her PMOY predecessor Sara Jean Underwood, Hef’s former flame Holly Madison and his current number one Crystal Harris) can be involved with. Hef is supporting it too; he’s a huge fan of charities.”

I sat.  I read this.  I had only one thought:  “Wait-Is there any playmate who has healthy, not over-processed hair?”

  • hahaha, I don’t think there are any! Is there even a brunette? That shade of blonde is so gross. Why do those women like their hair to look like doll hair???

  • That just what I was thinking while reading that! And aren’t most playmates hair fake nowadays too?

  • um, seriously. are they going to just cut off their extensions and give them away? and what playmate wants to have short hair anyway? it would take away their barbie appeal

    lol at this whole article

  • When Death comes for Mr. Hefner, if it’s wearing platinum blond extensions, then he’ll go willingly and die happy. Is it me, or do these repetitive pictures of him deluding himself about his mortality with his female, bottle-blond, human-drugs-of-choice look sadder and sadder?

God forbid we should see him enjoying himself with his children! Or is he trying to maintain the impression that he, (at 82, is it?) and not they, are the adolescent males in the family?

    • seriously why the hate? let him enjoy himself, he’s happy – they are happy, we’re all happy to see the photos and tv shows… you are the only one bitchin’.

      the cheese stands alone.

  • Some of the more exotic girls (read: brunettes) have really healthy [looking] hair. It could be a trick of the light.

  • So this is totally irrelevant to the story, but Locks of Love does not make wigs for cancer patients. I work in peds oncology, and, since treatment-related hair loss isn’t permanent, their wigs won’t fit properly or something… it’s on their website.

just an fyi… it’s still a great organization, and at least it’s not developed by Playmates.

  • Locks of Love only helps children.
Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths, however, does help women with cancer.
