Her sold-out tour starts next week — she’s currently in Kentwood relaxing beforehand — and Britney Spears is reminding us all why she’s pop’s top princess!
Britney continues her dominance on the charts, her latest single “Circus” is the No. 1 song on the Top 40 radio charts and her fifth No. 1 song overall. Currently she holds three songs in the Top 40 chart, her breakout first hit song ‘Womanizer,’ ‘Circus’ and her rapidly rising third single ‘If You See Amy.’ Additionally this marks the first time in her storied career where Spears scores back-to-back No. 1 singles on the radio chart, according to industry trade Radio & Records.
The platinum album Circus debuted at No. 1 and made Britney Spears the first female ever to have five No. 1 album debuts. Worldwide the album has sold in excess of three million albums.

This is fantastic news, and I love this bitch so much, I’m so happy for her! I wish I could afford to see her perform. I never get tired of hearing her songs play on the radio, and my musical taste is usually all about hardcore gangsta rap (mostly the old school stuff) and heavy house/techno, and classical music too – wide-ranging tastes, I know – but Britney, she is THE only pop singer I adore and I REALly adore her. I truly believe she’s special.
Boring. People are just buying her albums because of the freak factor. She is so manufactured and a paedo’s dream, I really feel sorry for little girls who are growing up thinking that they way she acts is the way to live.
i can’t understand this blind adoration to the bonkers britney either, yes i may have missed out of her hayday but i’ve hear baby one more time etc, even if it was later than the rest of you. Yet, her appeal is so limited. This is a woman whose pop songs may be catchy but are always so overly sexed, least we forget or not get that eveyone is meant to fancy her, [but in the flesh away from the airbrushing would anyone really??] the more terrible the song the more the woman pants and moans in her underwear. In a few years time her sons will be so ashamed =[ she needs to move on, better vocal training and a high neck sweater may help.

So, Beet, what’s going on lately with the comment section of your site? Comments aren’t showing up, or it’ll say “no comments” and yet there will be comments – it’s all wonky. It’s been like this for at least a week now, what’s going on?
I’m pleased for her. I never liked much of Britney’s music but she really seems like a sweet girl who’s had a tough time of it all, and here she comes looking all awesome and selling out shows. Way to go, Brit!
