Conan O’Brien bid us all farewell Friday night. It was his last night on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. After 16 years of hosting he’s hung up his hip strings, and put away the Walker: Texas Ranger button. Fortunately, the goodbyes are temporary. He takes over the Tonight Show starting June 1.

Thank the lord for that. TV wouldn’t be the same without Conan’s debonair side part and strawberry tinged locks. I think I’d lose all faith in mankind if I lived in a world with Carson Daly was still hosting a show while Conan got yanked.

    I totally agree Soleil. Although Carson Daly has SOME minor funny jokes, it would be absolutely atrocious if he were to still have his show.

    i legit cried when he started choking up at the end. at least he will be on earlier so i wont fall asleep as much during the show! i love him so much.

    I love my Conesy Wonesy :) I hope the west coast doesnt change him much! Im kind of upset Jimmy Fallon is taking over Late Night though. He sucked on SNL, he was always trying not to laugh in his skits, it was ANNOYING. Joel McHale from The Soup would have been better…..two funny Irish guys in a row lol

    I’m just bummed that Conan’s moving out west. No offense to Cali and its folk. He just doesn’t belong out there.

    OMG i love my connan!!! he is the funniest talk show host ever, i love when he pulls up on his hips like a puppet on strings and shakes his hair around! he’s just like spontainously cooky

    Apparently, Carson Daly wanted the 12:30 spot after Conan’s departure. Obviously, NBC heads put the kibosh on that one!

    andy richter sucked and the white stripes sucked. i hope his new show doesn’t suck like his final show sucked. they should have had conan desk drive to l.a. or at least have rescue dog shoot him during closing credits.
