Kim Basinger looks gorgeous and age-appropriate at the LA premiere of While She Was Out. Kim is 55 years old.
I mean, there’s obviously been a tiny bit of work done here — Botox, teeth whitening, perhaps some lip plumping and/or brow lift — but it’s all been done very, very tastefully. She looks like an absolutely radiant 55-year-old, not like a 55-year-old desperate to look 22. I love it, and I hope this is how I look when I’m her age.

Thats because she always stays in the house. I saw some special on VH! about celebrities w/mental problems. She was one of them. She has some anxiety disorder where she doesn’t leave her house for months at a time. I guess if you always stay in the house the sun won’t wrinkle up your skin like that..lol

i think she looks fabulous…i could do without the huge obnoxious veneers on her teeth, but other than that she looks really pretty. i remember watching her in 9 1/2 weeks & thinking she was so gorgeous.
She’d look gorgeous if she gained about 15 pounds. This would make her look softer, and it would get rid of the throbbing veins in her neck and the scary Madonna-like arms. If you’re too skinny you never age well, i.e. Rachel Zoe.

Hmmm…. yeah. Absurdly thin, though. A 55 year old woman can only look that thin if she doesn’t eat, and she only thinks it worth not eating to stay this thin if she wants to stay looking very young for all those cameras. Not exactly age appropriate, given what’s involved to achieve this look.

Mickey was a boxer for enough years to destroy his movie star looks. If Basinger had spent the same amount of time in the ring then she probably wouldn’t look nearly as good as she does.

kim is a beautiful woman. and for me has always been someone i kind of looked up to in terms of her strength and struggles. it’s too bad with this thread so many seem concerned with pointing out her “flaws,” or revealing their own prejudices concerning mental disorders.
Here’s a message to all you SAD women out there: Plastic surgery, make-up, a membership to the local gym, and eating healthy is AVAILABLE and affordable to ANYONE0! If you don’t look like this than that’s your choice. Quit running other women down who give up so much to look like this! Hollywood is loaded with gorgeous young women and it would sure be nice to see more older women get roles. But how can they with this kind of support from the public?
