Around 56.5 million viewers watched Wednesday’s Presidential debate, despite the fact that Fox didn’t even air it, choosing instead to air an MLB playoffs game.
This is less than watched the second debate, which didn’t conflict with baseball, when 63.2 million viewers tuned in.
Both these numbers pale in comparison to the 70 million Americans who tuned into the Vice Presidential debate, hoping Joe Biden would make Sarah Palin cry.
Because it was the PHILLIES. And they won. And the city was absolute chaos. And I couldn’t sleep. And I hate baseball. Luckily I hate politics even more and can’t wait until this election is over. My professors won’t shut up about it.

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

I watch as Palin and McCain incite hatred and fear against Obama at their rallies. Then I listen to Obama and his supporters at the Obama rallies. Quite a difference. I hear this utter nonsense about Obama being a Muslim, and I am again repulsed at what the McCain campaign has done to try to destroy this man. Obama has demonstrated far more Christian behavior than Palin and McCain combined.
It is estimated that the average working American pays about 49% of their income to taxes, based on Steve’s list above. By the way, if you do some research you’ll probably find that about 98% of these were implemented by Democrats. So if we have Democratic president along with a Democratic controlled congress, look forward to even more new tax programs. It’s their solution for everything and allows them to create new useless social programs, most of which don’t work and end up becoming very costly. Hang on folks, we’re in wild ride!
