So one of you awesome readers actually took the time to Photoshop some sense into Rumer Willis’s face.
Once you get rid of that awful, awful, awful chin, tweak the nose just a tiny bit and flesh out the lips, you actually have a VERY BEAUTIFUL young woman!
Get thee to plastic surgery, Rumer!

I honestly think she’s stunning before the photoshop. Yeah, so what her chin is not the “normal size”. She has very unique and beautiful features.

yeah, she’s ugly. but so is everybody. she’s just uglier than most. i don’t think she should get plastic surgery though. she can find someone who thinks she’s attractive.

I think it would. A huge reconstruction of bone. Fake teeth, the whole nine. Probably a lot more trouble than it’s worth for a few more fans. Plus, she’s grown up with that face, she probably doesn’t think it looks weird at all.
I would say that now that the rest of her is catching up, she’ll be alright. When I saw her in House Bunny, I got so used to it that it didn’t seem weird anymore.

The giant chin is hideous, but, it’s still Rumer’s unique feature and it would be strange to see her without it. Remember what happened when Jennifer-that-girl-from-Dirty-Dancing got the nosejob?

I can’t believe that you would post something so sexist. I would think that as an intelligent woman, you would know better than to perpetuate the belief that women should do anything and everything to mutilate their bodies in order to please and satisfy others who have no business placing their sick and biased judgments. Her chin is not that much larger than most women. Her mouth is small, which makes her chin appear larger.
The problem with Hollywood is that there is only ones standard for beauty, so you get movies where all the actresses look alike. It gets when you can’t tell one actress from another.

it’s not sexist at all, she’s just got a big chin and he reduced it, no big deal. There are plenty of male actors out there with odd features who’ve had people photoshop THEM before.
Maybe she shouldn’t get her chin taken down THIS far, but a compromise might in the surgery department might get her some better acting gigs – I mean, just LOOK at her genes!
No matter how you slice it, this girl is butt ugly. She got the worst of an already pretty homely gene pool. If her parents wern’t rich and famous there wouldn’t be enough bags in the world to cover that head.

Whilst I disagree with Hollywood’s narrow standard of beauty and applaud any women who don’t conform to it (i.e. by not having all the required surgery), there’s not conforming and then there’s being just plain fugly. Even if Rumer chose to have $500k worth of surgery, she’d still be fug.

While interesting, the photoshopped version is unbalanced and unnatural-looking. While not… traditionally beautiful… Rumer’s real face at least makes sense. And those Before pictures are some of the best I’ve seen of her in ages. The new hair looks great on her and really serves to de-emphasise the chin.
Beet, I gotta say, I’m kinda dissapointed in you for being so bitchy on this one. It’s one thing to make fun of someone’s music or lack of acting skills, but to say that someone is ugly and should go for plastic surgery makes me more and more convinced of your how shallow you really can be.
While I am a fan of your writing, I think this is taking bitchy and mean a little too far, and makes you appear without class.
I’d encourage you to acknowledge this and revert back to your old style of writing about your pets or something on a slow day instead of making people feel like crap about themselves when I think we need to be applauding the various kinds of beauty out there instead of this cookiecutter nonsensical myth that LA perpetuates. This is bullshit. I am a professional photo retoucher for fashion magazines, and this is not only a horrible Photoshop job, but the fact that you all think THIS looks better is crazy. Rumer Willis is very pretty. Trust me, I have seen the raw versions of some of the “pretty people”, and they are just boring, chubby, acne covered boring people like you and I. Rumer is at least interesting looking, instead of the elf you all think is a better version of her. Its discusting that you people judge so harshly on a CHIN. I’d rather have a weird face than an ugly personality.

This is what is wrong with society!! People take an extremely beautiful girl and change her to be “perfect”. I think Rumer is hot the way she is! The “after” pictures are of a person that doesn’t exist. Real girls aren’t perfect and Perfect girls aren’t real!
