Escaping the Paparazzi

You can’t escape all of them, Sarah.

Amidst rumors that her marriage is falling apart due to Matthew Broderick’s infidelities, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew took their son, James, to Ireland, where the family has a cottage and there are fewer creepy men with cameras.

This just makes me want to go to Ireland. It’s one of the top places on my list of places to visit in my life. China was on there, too, but it’s quickly falling. I’m very mad at China right now. So now I want to go to Ireland with Sarah Jessica and her adorable kiddo.

  • Do not blame Chinese people and their wonderful country, it’s only the government who’s doing things wrong, and it’s not exactly like they chose it, is it? I went to China last year and it’s such an amazing place, I’d give my right arm to go back there any day!! I recommend you both places, China and Ireland :)

  • I agree with Mire! I realize people are really frustrated and upset with a lot that the Chinese government has done and they have every right to be but I still feel that there is so much for people to learn about China, which can only be done by actually being there firsthand. It remains a beautiful country with a lot of potential in its people to grow and develop and eventually force its government to change (the majority of Chinese are still peasant farmers or lower class laborers with little thought beyond earning enough money to feed their families) and I’d hate to see the future ruined, which would surely come to pass when your average Chinese will never have the opportunity to travel outside of China and your average non-Chinese refuses to enter.

Ireland would be sweet though. The accents are way hotter.

  • PLEASE take a trip there- I was born in Tipperary and the whole country is absolutely beautiful. The people are lovely, the pubs are fun, the food is improving and you” wear out your camera taking all of your pics. You’ll be forever changed. However, the only place to buy cheesy souveniers south of Dublin is Bunratty Castle (go to Dirty Nellies outside of it for a pint).

  • WHY, WHY, WHY is her son dressed like that? Kate Hudson, Sharon Stone, and Sarah Jessica all dress their their boys in the most ridiculous clothes. I am a single mother working 2 jobs and my 5 year old son dresses better than these boys whose parents have more money than God. WHYYYYYYYY AREN’T THEY DRESSED BETTER? THIS PISSES ME OFF!!

  • Daily: maybe they let the boys pick their own clothes. Some parents do that to let kids express their creativity/individuality. Not saying I agree, just putting it out there.

  • me thinks daily is angry about getting fewer tips at the strip club lately. me thinks the little boy is actually acting like a little boy and has been out playing in the grass and getting dirty and stuff. me thinks daily is driving her own kids nuts.

  • Im Irish and I really think this is one of the coolest places to grow up. Different to anywhere I have been before.
I think James looks like a normal boy that actually has fun and his parents don’t mind if he gets dirt on his trousers. I bet Suri doesnt have that much freedom to have fun poor thing. All them over-sized Chanel dress in her closet and not allowed to sit down in any of them.

  • I went to china a couple years ago. the places to see there are amazing, although all my knockoff purses, jewlery and watches broke as soon as i got home! everything from china breaks :(

  • I currently live in Ireland. I am a Seattle girl married to an English academic and Ireland is a good place to live. I never had any desire to come here, but I like moving to different countries, so when the husband got a job here, I was happy to give it a go. A good road trip around Ireland makes you appreciate so much about life.
