Whoopi Goldberg got tongues wagging when she admitted on The View today that she’s had “about fifty” different lovers.
Um … Whoopi’s 52 years old. She was married only briefly when she was 18. So, assuming she lost her virginity at the age of 18, that averages out to approximately 1.47 different men a year.
That’s not called slutty. That’s called dating.

I’m certainly not one to judge, so dont get me wrong, but I think sex is much more of a special thing then to be casually sharing it with about 50 guys. I’m definitely not calling her a slut or justifying it, but i think sex is more valuable than media and culture nowadays makes it to be. After the Sexual Revolution in the 60’s, people could choose to have sex in two ways: 1) In a loving and totally committed relationship sealed in an a beautiful marriage or 2) Casually between two people who are in a dating relationship and may have feelings for each-other, or casually between two or more people who are simply attracted and dont care or know much about each other. Again, I’m not the one to judge, but I think this view point should be represented when the subject of sex is talked about.
I’d call Beet a slut. If she averages around 1.5 guys a month then that’s 18 guys a year. So say she waited until the ripe age of 18 to lose her virginity… and I think she’s 26 now. That’s around 144 guys she’s been with. Her vagina must smells like a 70 year old’s by now.

I’m disappointed with a lot of these comments. Sure, she doesn’t have the typical ‘raw’ attractiveness of many younger women. But she’s vivacious and strong, and believe it or not, some men are attracted to that.
Also, I doubt that she’s terribly concerned about someone marrying her. She has bigger priorities than bagging a husband.
