Michelle Williams made her first red carpet appearance since the passing of Heath Ledger, at the Cannes Film Festival, to promote her new flick, Wendy and Lucy.
“It was decided on Monday night that she could come to Cannes, and she got on the next plane to arrive just in time to get dressed and come to our premiere,” said a rep for Wendy and Lucy. “She came in and had a long nap and then came to the screening.”

I don’t beleve that any of these photos really do justice to Michelle’s true beauty. I have seen other photos of her in which her face exhibits a delicate, ethereal beauty, not to mention a genuine warmth and sweetness, that would melt the heart of any man with a pulse.
I guess it’s kind of cold of me to say but I think I might be the only one that didn’t see Heath Ledger’s death as some tragic loss.
I do think she’s very lovely. I think she can do better than that dress though, but she has a face that’s just naturally pretty, right from getting out of the shower to falling asleep with her make-up on and waking up the next day and still looking bright and shiny.

I think she looks gorgeous. She’s got the loveliest, most delicate features. I think she honestly looks radiant here — and that’s not a dress (or hairstyle) many women could successfully pull off.

i never really thought she was pretty when she was on dawson’s creek, but she has really grown into herself. she looks beautiful in that dress and i can’t think of many others who could pull this style of a dress off?
