wow that’s really harsh. the award has nothing to do with how well they are doing personally or mentally. she had a great album and deserved the award. some of the best artist are the biggest druggies.
the point of the grammy awards is to celebrate talent and acknowledge contributions to music, not to make moral judgements.
and i agree, some of the most celebrated musicians of all time were probably f*cked up when they wrote their best music.

She was granted a visa to come here, but at the last hour which made travel impossible. And are you so wise and all-knowing that you KNOW Amy ‘became famous’ so she could be a drug addict? Amy Winehouse has AMAZING TALENT and needs to get her act together before she loses everything. As for the Grammy wins, they were deserved. Making music is basically their job. What happens in these artist personal lives is just that -personal. Seperation of career and life.
