Her lawyer confirmed it:
“The good news was that Lindsay stopped herself that night, called her sponsor, and got herself immediately back on track. There is no magic cure here. The most unfortunate part of this is that Lindsay has to share her ‘one day at a time’ with the entire world.”
So why am I not happy? I should be breaking out the champagne right now to celebrate this joyous occasion.
I guess a part of me was rooting for her crazy ass to stay sober and get healthy.
Lindsay, we have Britney now. We have Jamie-Lynn. We have Vanessa Hudgens. We’re okay. Take care of yourself, girl.
unfortunately, you simply can’t expect her to never have problems along the way – especially in the entertainment industry.
i’d say it was a positive sign if she really did call her sponsor immediately and started again after this slip up.

Can I say highly over-rated!She can’t act, has really bad skin so the make-up artists have to use a trowel to fill in an cover-up all of the crators and pock marks in her face. She is knock kneed and pigeon toed an somewhat bow legged all at the same time and if that is not enough she is way too short. As soon as she has squandered her 15 minutes she will just be another tragedy thrown away by the roadside of life. I do not think she will ever see 30 either due to her own poor judgement or by her own hand. She is nothing more than Your basic white trash accident waiting to happen.
Sobriety takes some time. Weaving it into ones life is the hardest part. You may find Yourself in places not intended. Then get up, shake Your self off & “do the next right thing.”The hardest part for me was learning not to be around partying people. It took a while for me to see my own triggers and learn what to stay away from as to not get there again. Your intention helps predict Your outcome. If one keeps with the program in a year more or less You’ll look back and what once had You and Your sobriety in danger & be years from that point. Growth Years. Continue to look forward with some humility & not back with the feeling of giving up. Never give up -don’t look back – faith is the substance of things unseen -that will soon be the future if you keep going to meetings and have the faith of a mustard seed.
Perhaps all of us could have mercy on this good child of the God of all our ancestors &
realize that she has a double bad time. Snagging in her program & having everyone who can get on the internet have the possiblity of seeing her down. People we are not here to hold people down. How ’bout giving her some mercy & a hand UP.
