I knew her growing up also. I’m 29 and know that she is 100% lying about her age if she’s saying she’s 25. The way she met her last boyfriend (Chris Dexter) was lying to get into his club. She told the doorman she was very good friends with Chris in order to get in, when actually she and Chris had never met. Her real name is LeAnn Call and she is 29 years old. We were friends as children/young teens when we both lived in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. We lost touch after she moved to Licking, MO and until recently I had no idea what had become of her. I remember her as a smart and funny girl, and a good friend to me! I am sad to hear all of these negative things people are writing about her – I was hoping she had ended up a happy and content person.

Le Ann is my niece, her dad was my only brother who died of a heart attack 1 1/2 years ago as a coach in Licking Missouri. She was born in Cape Girardeau Missouri as was her dad and myself. Cape is the home of Rush Limbaugh. She scored well over 30 on her ACT and was awarded a scholarship to Univ of Misssouri…she did not like Licking Missouri. She has been in contact with our family since my brother’s death and has met with family members who travel to NY. I have met Chris Dexter and he stood by her and cared for her during the ordeal of my brother’s heart attack.

My name is Matt Call. I am the son of previous poster Don Call and cousin of Le Call. Say what you want, read what you want, LeAnn is one of the strongest, most real people I know. We e-mail back and forth, and I can tell you, fame has not changed her. I’ve known her my whole life, and can say I am proud she is my cousin. I knew her at Mizzou also; we were in the same sorority. On the days that she didn’t eat 1/2 of a chicken nugget, she would eat ketchup with a spoon while looking at the rest of us with disgusting eyes for eating normal. In a house of 220 girls, I think she had only one friend. Many people tried to include her in their lives, but I agree that her self-esteem was too low. The friend that I remember that she kept around had a lower perception of self-worth than LeAnn. It was very difficult to engage with her on a level deeper than an acquaintance. In addition, she loved drama and creating drama. Her only ambition in life was to become a model, become famous and be with a more famous man. She did it…so, more power to her. But if she actually scored a 30 on her ACT, it is sad that this was all she aspired to get out of life. 15 minutes of fame doesn’t last a lifetime.
In high school we voted her most likely to be famous. They took a hilarious picture of her and another friend holding booking signs. LeAnn was a good sport when we put on hers aka Hiedi Fliess. I guess our class just realized that someday LeAnn would be famous. I think everyone should give her a little slack. We all have skeletons in our closets. If she makes Owen happy, more power to her. I used to run some fan sites for a comedy actor, who went on to marry a model. Her family had a lot of skeletons, father had been disbarred, a brother had a drug problem and was in jail, and her mother was in a huge amount of debt and threatened the comedy actor with revealing personal stuff about his past unless he paid off her debts. It all worked out in the end, and their contractual-but-not-truly-loving marriage is still surviving. But, the family of this model never, ever put anything out on the internet, so very few people know the truth about this family, and most people still think the model and her family are squeaky clean. The fact that they were discreet was a big part of how the family racket worked.
It seems to me that if the Call families want to keep Le in the sweet life with Owen supporting her, buying her trips, drugs, and who knows what else, they would take a lesson from this other model’s family and wise up and STOP POSTING YOUR FAMILY BUSINESS EVERYWHERE. I know Le TODAY and for all the negative comments that have been made about her. It’s maybe .001 the amount of what she has said about other people. I recently wrote a message about le call (s. jones not my real name). After writing that, I started to feel really badly about myself and writing something about somebody in a negative way. I truly believe in the law of attraction and what goes around comes around. Which I actually wrote in my message above. And there I was doing the complete opposite of what I believe. She may have faults, but who doesn’t. That doesn’t justify actions that may hurt someones feelings or sabotage their success. I just know that this was a learning lesson for me and that I need to do some serious soul searching as to why I would write something. My sincere apologies to le call. it’s pretty sad when no one has anything better to do than to bash some one online….i may not know the girl and yeah it’s wrong to lie about your age but who in hollywood doesn’t come on give me a break…it’s also pretty sad because she only lost her father just a year ago….he was one of the best teachers i ever had and he was also a great coach who was dedicated to his work…he may have been a little harsh every now and then but only when it was called for. and who cares if she lies about where she is from i would do the same i can’t stand this little po-dunk town and i swear to god anyone who lives here will drown here.

Apparently, and unfortunately, there’s just a lot of people who completely disagree with you about it. The point is, it won’t help her case to have people posting about how bad Missouri is, or how common it is in “Hollywood” to lie, to take money and trips from men in exchange for sex and entertainment, or common drug use is. You really need to stop trying to defend her, it’s keeping the story alive in a way that makes her look worse (because you are openly admitting she has done these things) and keeping it going makes her look like she’s in it for the attention and the fame, not because of any real love.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we were hearing that she is taking care of Owen? Wouldn’t it be nice if we were hearing that she played a positive role in his recovery? Wouldn’t it be nice if she had given up all the things she used to do, like treating people the way she apparently treated people in New York just a couple of weeks ago? No, she went back to Missouri for Thanksgiving, and she’s apparently not supporting Owen the way a real love would. If anything he had to support her emotionally, which is incredibly unfair of anyone to ask him while he’s going through what he’s going through. People who try to defend her always make her look even worse here – if you want to give her a chance, if you want to give a love relationship between the two of them a chance, you’ll stop posting and trying to defend her. The story needs to just die down, because it won’t ever get better this way.

Le in the past week has been alot more human. Hopefully, she is not being fake and maybe genuinely wants to be a nicer person after reading all the negative feedback about her. I thought she was just rude to me but I guess not.
I have known Le for a few years… we were represented by the same agency.. while I think anyone’s family be it uncle or cousin would gladly defend their family member- it seems as though her lifetysle and antics were much different in chicago (like setting people’s apartments on fire) and she is a much different person than they refer to. I like Mathew. My sister is gorgeous and has done rotten things to people all her life. I have nothing good to say about her, except she’s awfully witty and charming, until she catches you in her web. If LeAnn was not a good person, believe me, Mathew would not be supporting her her so strongly. Keep the good ones.

I guess I remember a better day in her life. I went to grade school with her. We won the 3 legged race together during play day. I don’t recall when she moved away but I don’t think she ever really made me mad or a being a total B at that time either. Later on I worked with her sister and the year I got married 2000 I met up with her sister again and she told me LeAnn was a model. Which suprised me. Noone ever gets famous around here. Never looked her up until now. Its a shame she turned out like this.
