Sarah Silverman

“The joke that everyone was upset about — me calling the kids `adorable mistakes’ — was the most innocuous joke. It never occurred to me that would be deemed hurtful or over the line … I don’t want to get into feuds with girls half my age. I’m in it to be funny and not for the drama. It’s embarrassing.”

Sarah Silverman, in Us Weekly’s upcoming issue, regarding her Britney Spears comments at the VMAs.

  • Then shut your yap and take the red-eye to a remote area to moan and bewail your sins to the empty sky, become a hermit.. then we will believe you, if we don’t forget about you first.

  • I didnt really have an opinion of her before this, but I really feel she took it too far. I know she still has a lot of fans though, so hopefully she has learned from this. Wrong joke, wrong crowd.

  • Sarah Silverman-either you get her or you don’t. I get her and the joke was hi-larious. She was the highlight of that cesspool they called an awards show. Well, right up to the diarrhea bit.

Ooooh and Chris Brown. He worked it.

  • I think d is right, you either get her or you don’t. She was doing exactly what every comedian does, using current events in her routine. I thought the whole lip stretching bit, might have been a bit to….. accurate. :o) hahhaa. What I loved the most was how the crowd was wanting to laugh but too afraid to be the first one to do it. bbbaaaaaabbaaaaa go the sheep

  • Oh, Jesus fucking Christ people. She made a joke. Whether you like her humor or not, people do find her funny. And those people matter more than you.

    Just stating facts.

I’m with DarthPaul, I’m glad she didn’t apologize!
