Hi guys. Still sick again today, but it seems to be on the upswing. I’m feeling a tiny bit better, but I still think I’ll be stuck in bed all day. THE FLU SUCKS. I recommend you not get it.

You know what else sucks?

The statement Chris Brown released to the media today:

“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”

Yeah, I figured as much. Note to everyone: Everything MediaTakeOut reports “exclusively” is a lie. They seriously just sit around a table and make up lies. That’s why we didn’t report the Facebooking around here. And we didn’t report that Rihanna gave him herpes, because that was a lie too.

You know what’s not a lie? That Chris Brown beat up his girlfriend to the point that she had to check into a hospital.

I hope once the “legal issues” are sorted out and he’s heading off to jail, he’ll be willing to issue a statement where he takes a little more responsibility for his actions.

I can’t stop laughing at this.

A lot of people ask me what Twitter’s about, and why I use it, and why it matters, and there are so many reasons for its coolness and it’s so hard to put into words the awesomeness of Twitter, but this is a good example. I’ve been following Shaq’s Twitter (it’s here) for awhile now, and every single thing he tweets makes me smile. It’s just so cool to get to know what this uber-celeb athlete is thinking every day, and to see that this gigantic dunk machine is actually someone who I would probably have a blast just hanging out with.

He spent Saturday in Mesa at an charity event LeBron James and Jay-Z put on, and apparently he was at a comedy roast and lost his voice laughing and cheering so loudly. How cool is that?? I would have never known that about this guy — I would have never seen him as a real person.

Twitter is so awesome.

Jay-Z, who was reportedly out for blood after hearing what Chris Brown did to his protege Rihanna, was all smiles with his wife at a kids’ charity event in Mesa, Arizona on Valentine’s Day.

When Jay-Z and Beyonce have a baby, I am totally referring to it as the Jay-B. Or should I spell it Jaybie? I just don’t know!!! But isn’t that just brilliant??? I need to decide quick before Beyonce gets all knocked up!!! No one better steal that shit from me. I’m calling it now. I THOUGHT OF IT FIRST, BITCHES!!!!

Puss ‘N’ Boots spent some time shopping in Manhattan on Valentine’s Day, after a long night of partying and fighting with Samantha Ronson at the after-party for Charlotte’s Fashion Week show.

Lindsers and SamRo were supposed to host a V-Day party tonight in Florida, at the casino where Anna Nicole died. I was hearing from PR peeps that they were fighting so bad on Friday night that they might not even show. I’m starting to believe this is true, especially if Lindsay was dressed up and shopping in Manhattan instead of on her way to the airport.

Anyone know if they wound up flaking????

I kind of hope so! I don’t want my precious Lindsay anywhere near the scene of Anna Nicole’s death in her current cokey-pants frame of mind.

Update: It’s confirmed! They flaked, citing illness. “Lindsay and Samantha stayed out late last night in New York City, and are not feeling well,” said the PR chick from the club. “A doctor said Sam was too sick with the flu to travel and Lindsay is also feeling sick. So they rescheduled for March 7.” They weren’t too sick to party last night!!! And Lindsay wasn’t too sick to SHOP today!!!! (Thanks Kelley!)

It’s the Original Girl Crush, Sara Gilbert, with her daughter, Sawyer, out at a park in BevHills on Saturday. This is the first I’ve seen of this little girl. Adorable!!!

Sawyer is Darlene’s — er, I mean Sara’s — second kiddo with her longtime girlfriend, Allison Adler. The couple have an older son named Levi.

Seriously, did anyone not have a girl crush on Darlene?? She was like the original Lindsay Lohan for me. I love how all my girl crushes wind up actually having sex with girls. I’m so lezzie-brillz. (YES I AM GOING TO COPYRIGHT THAT PHRASE.)
