Yup! Tina Fey gave birth to a baby girl—finally, right?—waaaay back on Wednesday. (Fey’s publicist confirmed the happy news Friday evening.)

Since you were wondering, the new addition is named Penelope Athena. As Greek mythology goes, that is a seriously feminist name.

That said, I almost wish Tina Fey had gone with the name “Artemis” instead, because Artemis was maybe the first girl to ever play hard-to-get. Plus, Tina could nickname the kid “Artie”! Ha ha! (And that, my friends, is why I have no children.)

This is the second daughter for Tina Fey and her husband, composer Jeffrey Richmond.

When Sarah first brought you the news of Tracy Morgan‘s outrageously bigoted rant, she mentioned how weird it was that Tracy works so closely with Tina Fey on 30 Rock. If you didn’t know, Tina Fey is awesome in nearly every way, including not being a homophobic prick. If you were also curious about what Tina’s reaction would be to Tracy’s rants and rambles, here it is:

“The violent imagery of Tracy’s rant was disturbing to me at a time when homophobic hate crimes continue to be a life-threatening issue for the GLBT Community. It also doesn’t line up with the Tracy Morgan I know, who is not a hateful man and is generally much too sleepy and self-centered to ever hurt another person. I hope for his sake that Tracy’s apology will be accepted as sincere by his gay and lesbian co-workers at ’30 Rock’, without whom Tracy would not have lines to say, clothes to wear, sets to stand on, scene partners to act with, or a printed-out paycheck from accounting to put in his pocket.”

As usual, I think Tina Fey handled this in a really classy way. She’s another one of those people who can’t do anything wrong.  I’m not so sure about Tracy though. After his original words, his apology fell just a little short, right?

It’s true, I’m over the Jersey Shore jokes (We get it! They’re dumb, orange and gross!) but this video is hilarious. Of course it is, the Goddesses of Comedy, Tina and Amy, kill everything they do. They can drop the mic on the stage of life, right about now. They’ve given us so much already.

Rachel Dratch never fails to make me laugh out loud, and is it just me, or does Abby Elliott do the best impressions ever? Girl’s mad talented.

Tina Fey to GQ on the Louis C.K. idea that calling children ‘asshole’ is alright. Am I the only one getting a serious LOL out of this one?

Tina Fey never fails to crack me up, seriously. Not that I’d ever, of course, take her tongue-in-cheek advice and call my three-year-old a douchebag (she’d be PISSED for days, you guys), but it’s funny to hear the randomness that sometimes comes from one of the most talented, witty women in America anyway.

Tina Fey‘s the freakin’ coolest. We all loved her on SNL, we love her on 30 Rock and Mean Girls is pretty much the best thing to happen to any of us (but especially Lindsay Lohan.) Incidentally?  She’s PREGNANT.  Like, as in 5 months pregnant, and she’s been disguising that bump pretty well, I’d say.  Fey’s rep confirmed late last night that she’s expecting.  See?  Awesome all around.

I always have to wonder how Tina Fey and Amy Poehler feel about Lindsay Lohan’s situation. There’s no doubt that in some ways, this is more tragic for them to watch than any of us. They both worked with Lindsay on Mean Girls and at the time gave the most glowing reports of her as both a person and an actress. Lindsay also had great chemistry with the Saturday Night Live cast at one point and has even said in interviews that during her second time hosting the show, when she was seemed to be the peak of her drug addition and weight loss, Amy Poehler pulled her aside for a mini-intervention.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they were love angry at her like a couple of aunts.

Damn. Justin Bieber is stealing hearts all over the world. You know, in addition to my vagina. Because we have sex all the time. Me and Justin Bieber. We do it. Constantly. He’s like, addicted to me. At first I was like, “Damn, I can’t believe that you like me, Bieber”, but then I realized that I have so many things to offer him that your average 15 year old ho can’t.  ANYWAY! My fuck buddy’s performing on Saturday Night Live tonight.

Honestly, I have no idea what this kid does except he’s 1) a YouTube star of some sort, 2) the tweens are all about him, 3) he’s got mad shaggy hair. Late last year Tina Fey mentioned in an interview that Matt Damon was one of her top picks for a potential 30 Rock guest spot. Of course upon hearing this, Matt Damon was not only down to grant Tina her wish, he seemed almost desperate to give the collaboration a shot, saying at the time, “I would do [30 Rock] in a heartbeat if they asked me to come on. She should call my people — or even better me. Or I could call her. Let’s make this happen.”

Then today it was announced that it will totally be happening. Amazing! Yes, Matt Damon’s a great dramatic actor, but he’s always brought the laughs. His guest stint on Will & Grace still makes me giggle and he was pretty good natured when Sarah Silverman announced to the world that they were fucking. And he’s hot for days. Per usual, there are no details about what kind of character Matt will play, but the safe bet is that he’ll be another man for Jenna.

The episode will most likely air at the end of the season. Get excited!

Tina Fey is KILLING IT in this month’s Esquire. Killing it. Of course the interview is funny as hell (On what she thinks Twitter seems like: “a busman’s holiday: just more writing. I have no plans to do it. I’ll just stick with my 24/7 webcam. I’m old-fashioned that way.” and what she thinks will happen to her level of fame: “[It] will drop back down. I think it’ll recede. In fact, I know it will. That’s life on planet earth. And I’m okay with that. Besides getting tables at restaurants and special treatment at the airport, what else is there?), but she’s also hot. Hotter than usual. Smokin’. The photos are to die for. Check ‘em out.
