The trio did a nice little rendition of ‘Living On a Prayer’ together at the Winter Whites Gala to support homeless charity Centrepoint on Tuesday night, and stars like Benedict Cumberbatch and James Blunt were in attendance. Kate Middleton, however, wasn’t there – she got left at home to watch the baby. BOO!
Here’s what Taylor had to say about the event:
“It’s positively magical here. There are fairy lights and there is fake snow falling from the sky and everything is just gorgeous. I am just very lucky to be here.
“I don’t think I have ever played in a palace before. So it will be really wonderful. This evening is so special… It is for a charity that as well as being very important to Prince William is also very important to me.”

The American Music Awards happened and I don’t think anyone really cared that much, but here’s your outfit recap, just in case. Yeah, it’s a day late. Honestly, who really cares? We covered Katy Perry’s “is this offensive” Geisha performance, which was probably the most interesting thing of the whole night. So here’s the outfits, a touch late, but we can still have fun oooo-ing and aaaah-ing and WTF-ing. Which is what I’ll need your help with. I want you to pick the best, worst, and most WTF outfit of the night. Here we go!

New York Magazine thinks they know who the biggest pop star in the world is — and it’s Taylor Swift (cover above). Ms. Swift poured her “Not right for Victoria’s Secret” heart out to the magazine. Here’s some juicy bits, via E Online:
- … allowing yourself to feel raw, real emotions in public is something I’m never going to be afraid to do.
- I’m fine with being honest with my fans about the fact that it’s okay that everything isn’t okay all the time. I love my life, I love my career, I love my friends—but things are not okay all the time. So I don’t sing about things being okay all the time.
- There’s a spin on every single celebrity out there. I know that one of my spins is: ‘Oh, Taylor’s heartbroken. Oh, Taylor fell in love and the guy broke her heart. She’s sad all the time, and lonely.’
- I’m a songwriter. Everything affects me.
- I only write songs about crazy love.
Enough of this, we want to know who you think the biggest pop star in the world is.

Oh man, I knew this was coming. Here’s the deal: Taylor Swift performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last week, donning sparkly outfits and being Taylor Swift. I thought that was a weird choice, sure – after all, when you think of Victoria’s Secret models, Taylor isn’t generally the first person that pops to mind. However, neither is fucking Fall Out Boy, and no one was giving them shit.
Anyway, apparently a VS model named Jessica Hart dissed Taylor backstage, saying that she “didn’t fit” and people got up in arms about it, as they do, and now the company’s chief marketing director (LOL) Edward Razek has had to speak up and try to clear the air on Hart’s behalf.
From US Weekly:
On Nov. 13, Hart was asked by WWD at the fashion show’s after-party whether Swift could pull off being a Victoria’s Secret model. “God bless her heart. I think she’s great,” said Hart. “But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit.”
Today, Razek has come forward to clarify Hart’s comments. “I have personally been in contact with Jessica Hart and she said she was ‘wildly misinterpreted’ and that she thought Taylor was ‘amazing,’” Razek tells Us. “She is stunned that anyone would think differently. And that’s something we can all agree on.”
Razek continues, “I can tell you that everyone at Victoria’s Secret was blown away by Taylor’s performance. She could not be more beautiful or talented, that we felt extremely lucky to have her, and that she is welcome back to do the show anytime she wants.”
I mean, whatever. Taylor Swift isn’t a Victoria’s Secret girl, but I don’t think she was ever trying to be. If they wanted someone more “on brand”, they should’ve hired Christina Aguilera or someone. The selection was their choice, but I guess that doesn’t mean their models have to keep their mouths shut. Also, I totally love it that a Victoria’s Secret model felt like she was in a place to be condescending – “bless her heart”? That’s some patronising bullshit. She’s lucky Taylor’s fans aren’t like GaGa’s or she’d probably be receiving death threats now.

Taylor Swift performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – odd choice, no? – and she seemed to really love it! She got to don sparkly outfits and look super snazzy and slap Cara Delevingne’s butt… what’s not to love?
She performed ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ for the show, which won’t broadcast on CBS until next month. Did you ever think Taylor Swift and Victoria’s Secret would mix? I didn’t, but she killed it! Fall Out Boy was there, too. I’ll leave it at that.
If you want to see lots of hot models in lingerie – Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Jourdan Dunn, Adriana Lima, etc – then you’ll have to tune in on December 10. Here’s a gallery in the meantime:
