Michael Jordan and his wife Yvette Prieto Jordan have two reasons to celebrate: they’re the parents of identical twin girls! Yvette gave birth on Sunday in West Palm Beach, Florida. Hurrah!
The statement from their spokeswoman, Estee Portnoy, was short but sweet:
“Yvette and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival.”
I certainly don’t envy these two starting over – Michael’s already got three grown kids (all in their 20s) – but I bet they’re super excited to have new babies around. Who doesn’t love babies? They’re cute, they’re squishy and best of all, they can’t talk back yet!
In any case, Michael and Yvette got married last April and announced the pregnancy in November, so things are moving right along for these two. Congrats!

Michael Jordan is being sued by a woman named Pamela Smith who claims he fathered her 16 year-old son. She wants a paternity test.
TMZ has the info:
Smith claims in her paternity suit — filed February 6 in Fulton County, GA and obtained by TMZ — she became pregnant after having sex with Jordan in 1995. Pamela gave birth to Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds — aka Taj — in June 1996. BTW, Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy at the time he allegedly had sex with Smith.
Pamela says in her legal docs she welcomes a paternity test to prove Jordan’s the dad. She wants full custody and child support. She also wants Jordan to pay the kid’s medical expenses.
Pamela also wants the judge to make Jordan the boy’s legal last name.
Taj posted a video on YouTube in December saying,
I have some exclusive exclusive information I feel like everybody should know. If you hear any rumors about how I am Michael Jordan’s son…it’s true. The reason I’m making this video is because…I feel like y’all should know and I feel like he should be more in my life about it too. Because if I was somebody’s dad I would want to be in my kid’s life…he knows I’m his son…we talked, had a conversation.
He finishes the video with, “Follow me on Twitter.”
I don’t know what to say about this except, everybody? Get up. It’s time to slam now. We got a real jam going down.
