Marilyn Manson heard about Paris Jackson‘s suicide attempt, and that it was perhaps triggered by not being allowed to see him in concert. He’s since tweeted  (via Billboard),

I hope you feel better. You will be on my guest list anytime you want.

Which is very sweet of him. He continued on his path of kindness when he dedicated his song “Disposable Teens” (okay maybe not the sweetest title but I bet the message is…good?) to her at one of his shows.

But then, being Manson, he got a little weird.

According to reports, Manson dedicated his song “Disposable Teens” to Michael Jackson’s famous daughter, saying simply, “This song is for Paris Jackson” during his Thursday night show. The dedication comes days after reports surfaced that the 15-year-old had attempted suicide after being told she could not attend Manson’s show.

Manson then shocked observers by simulating a suicide attempt of his own, dragging a meat cleaver across his forearm. [Note: Paris Jackson reportedly used a meat cleaver to cut herself.]

Okay, chill out Billboard, it’s quite obviously a knife and not a meat cleaver. Nit picky, I know. But yes. It’s STILL odd to me. What exactly was his message? “Hey everyone, in case you didn’t know, this is how she tried to kill herself, let me show you. This isn’t sensationalizing it at all.” But I don’t know.

Paris Jackson, daughter of Michael, was rushed to the hospital this morning amid rumors of an attempted suicide. Though anyone who attempts suicide can likely attest it’s for a number of reasons, TMZ suggest it may have stemmed from frustration over a Marilyn Manson concert. Here is TMZ’s timeline:

Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning, and sources tell us it was a suicide attempt.

Paris was taken out of her Calabasas family house [note: this is not her grandmother's house, as Katherine Jackson lives in Encino] on a stretcher at around 2 AM and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The 911 call came in at 1:27 AM.  We’re told the caller reported a possible overdose, although a source connected to the emergency response said there were multiple cuts on one of her wrists.

– 9:51 AM PST:  A source closely connected to Paris tells TMZ … she has “tried this [a possible suicide attempt] in the past” but “this was far more serious.  It was not a cry for help.”  

– 10:14 AM PST: Debbie Rowe‘s lawyer, Eric George, tells TMZ: “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family’s privacy.”

10:14 AM PST:  A source connected to the family tells TMZ … Paris “threw a fit” last night after she was told she couldn’t go to a Marilyn Manson concert.  We’re told she ran into her room screaming and slammed the door.

– 11:33 AM PT — Katherine Jackson’s attorney tells TMZ … “Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention.” The lawyer, Perry Sanders, adds, “Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you.”

– 12:44 PM PT – Jackson brothers Jackie, Marlon and Tito just sent this statement to TMZ: “Thank you for the outpouring of concern and support for Paris. She is safe and doing fine. We truly appreciate you respecting our family privacy at this time.”

TMZ is very quick to point out that Paris was posting “cryptic tweets”. Yesterday Miss Jackson tweeted the Beatles lyrics,

yesterday , all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay

Paris often tweets lyrics of her favorite artists, so who knows if this means anything at all. At this time it sounds as though the family isn’t denying the suicide rumors. I sincerely hope she’s doing well.

Also, who the f-ck is leaking all of this personal info? I’m talking about details like, “Paris threw a fit [...] ran into her room screaming and slammed the door.” That had to be from somebody in the house at the time, which means it was probably someone close the family, which means that’s shady as hell to release that to the press. Unless of course it’s all made up. In which case, still not cool.

Avril Lavigne has always insisted that she’s just soooo punk rock, despite the fact that she grew up as a Shania Twain fangirl and her version of punk included some Dickies and wearing a tie, but whatevs. Now she’s taken it to a whole other level by teaming up with her longtime pal Marilyn Manson for a duet called ‘Bad Girl’, which will feature on her new album. Not only did they make magic in the studio, but Marilyn also convinced her to shave the side of her head and helped her get the job done. Oh, Marilyn – such a troll!

“It was last minute,” Lavigne said of recruiting Manson for the track. “I was sitting there at the board thinking Manson would be perfect on this track, so I texted him, and he’s like, ‘I’ll come over and I’ll hear it.’ So he came at 4 o’clock in the morning. … Yes, it was one of those nights.”

The Manson/Lavigne duo may seem like an unlikely one, but they are actually longtime friends. (Lavigne first met the rocker at one of his concerts when she was 18.) In fact, he is the one responsible for Lavigne’s half-shaved haircut that she sported last year.

“I had wanted to shave the side of my head for quite some time, and I used to put it in a braid there [side of her head] and so it was kind of like shaving it,” Lavigne said “And then one night, it was on my adventure to France. During my adventure when I was living there, we were hanging out backstage and we were with his band having a few drinks and I was like, ‘Let’s shave my head. I’m ready; let’s do this!’ He’s like that, though. He has fun. He wears his makeup; his wardrobe is very visual. I like his style.”

LOL. I dunno what to even say about this, it’s all so LOL to me. It also makes him a hell of  a lot less cool in my eyes. And by “cool” I mean a tolerable, pretty innocuous and misunderstood bro who gets off on being a weirdo but isn’t hurting anybody. There’s only one question left: will Marilyn be bridesmaid at Avril’s wedding?

Yeah, this is from Star, so there’s a solid chance it’s total bullshit. But it’s gossip, you guys. A few days ago I hung out with my boyfriend’s four-year-old niece and listened to her while she told me all about how the lady from across the street’s daughter tried to break into her car at Walmart. Was it true? I don’t know, maybe. Was it fun? Yes, of course it was. So loosen up and let the tabloids into your heart already.

But right, Avril Lavigne and Marilyn Manson. Yikes. And you know, poor Taylor Momsen. She was supposed to be the one to win Marilyn Manson’s heart, not Avril. Ugh, the world is so unfair sometimes.

The other day Emily told you guys about the unlikely pairing of Marilyn Manson and Lana Del Rey. And then, a few days after that, she told you about Marilyn Manson being all buddy-buddy with Johnny Depp. Now? We have Marilyn Manson and the female-wannabe-Marilyn Manson, Taylor Momsen. I mean, she’s chalk-white and all knees and elbows like Manson, she’s got some serious eyeliner addiction—like Marilyn Manson!—and hell, her last name is even similar to Manson (Momsen, Manson, what-the-f-ck-ever). So I guess it’d make sense that these two would eventually cross paths in the music world, and here it is. They did. How ’bout it.

The above video is over eighteen minutes long, and while I freely admit that I watched the entire thing with no shame, I’ll also candidly tell you that I cringed throughout most of it, because while Marilyn Manson is pretty badass, he still kind of scares the goth-fearing sixth-grader in me. No, really: one of my very best friends turned all “goth” on me in sixth grade, and I’m going to be dead honest with you—I had no idea how to deal. No f-cking clue. She became all dark and black nail-polished and silver-spiky and all ‘Cake and Sodomy’, and it was a shock for me, alright? It was a shock. I dealt, and things were alright, but I’m not going to pretend that I was taken aback by all of it, all from the petite dress-wearing girl with the formerly honey-blonde hair, clear mascara, and Claire Danes smile.

Anyway. To make a long story short, Taylor appears around the 1:54 mark, OK?

Taylor took the stage at these, the 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards—the very same show where Johnny performed with good ol’ Mair later on in the set, and the audience went … well, ‘nuts’ wouldn’t exactly convey what I’m trying to say when ‘apathetic’ is more along the lines of what I mean … but they seemed to enjoy her well enough. Probably because at least half of them thought that a live goat would be disemboweled onstage while Taylor drew pentagrams and upside-down crosses on Marilyn’s bare ass with its blood. I mean, I know that’s what I see when I envision these two together, you know?

All I know is that it’s way better than picturing Manson and Barry Manilow performing side by side. Do you know how uncomfortable that crowd would be? Damn.

Really, as Sarah told you a couple of weeks ago, the BFF-ship between Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson is not new at all. As Manson said, he and Johnny first met on the set of 21 Jump Street, where he was an extra, and the friendship started there. That means they’ve been friends for 24 years. That’s longer than I’ve been alive, you guys. So why am I referring to this as a “new BFF alert”?

It’s because they’ve just really started to come out with their friendship. I can’t remember ever seeing anything about these two dudes together, and it really is, as Sarah referred to it back when she first told you about this wacky friendship, some mighty intense f-ckery. In what world would a man like Johnny Depp and a man like Marilyn Manson make such close friends?

I have no idea, but in that world, Johnny Depp shows up at Marilyn Manson’s concert and plays guitar during a cover of “Sweet Dreams.”

And this wasn’t in that video, and I know because I suffered through it one more time just to check, but Marilyn had some sweet words to say about Johnny after the song was finished:

After running through the song “Sweet Dreams,” Manson, 43, shouted to the crowd, “If you don’t recognize my personal friend … my personal savior, my personal guitar hero … Johnny Depp!” The crowd roared its approval.

“My personal savior”? Goodness, this bromance must be more intense than I originally thought.

I’m so sorry, you guys. I know that when you started your day, when you got on your computer and came over here to Evil Beet to check out the goings on, it never even entered your mind that this was a possibility. I know it never entered mine. I actually wasn’t too sure we’d hear all that much about poor Lana Del Rey ever again, ever since her tour was postponed back in February. But here we are. And I’m not too sure how we got here.

By the way, that photo up there was taken backstage at an awards show in Germany last week. I have no idea what Barry Manilow has to do with anything, but that’s usually the case. However, you can see the new lovebirds, Lana and Marilyn Manson, up there, pressed close together. That’s something, isn’t it?

Here’s something else: the actual rumor itself. Be warned, it’s pretty racy!

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson has sparked rumors he’s dating rising star Lana Del Rey after they were spotted sneaking into a hotel together.

The pair hooked up at a restaurant in Berlin, Germany the night before the Echo Awards on Thursday and were seen leaving the eatery together in a mini-van after midnight.

Del Rey was booked into the city’s Concorde Hotel but was spotted arriving with Manson at his hotel, the Grand Hyatt, and they were then photographed sneaking into the elevator together, according to local publication B.Z.

OMG, scandal upon scandal!!!

But really, something about this just makes me feel all icky and gross, and I’m not quite sure what it is. While I do enjoy Lana Del Rey, I don’t love her to the point of having serious, serious issues with her taste in men like I would with other celebrities. And while Marilyn Manson generally gives me the willies, this still feels weird in a slightly different way …

Oh, God. I figured out what it is, why this is so gross to me: who’s going to tell poor little Taylor Momsen?

Manson’s date is none other than performance artist Narcissister, a professionally-trained dancer and “living mannequin” who is never photographed without her mask.

Now, I know lowbrow performance art strikes anyone who has to work for a living (read: anybody who is finally out of art school) as uselessly presumptuous, but this girl has some game. She recently appeared in a special, family-friendly performance on America’s Got Talent:

While circus freaks Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson left a restaurant last night in LA , the female half of the relationship wore a ring on its all-important finger … and just to clear that up, in case there was any confusion, it was Wood sporting the bling, not Manson.

The two started dating back in December of 2006 when Wood was just a mere twenty years old; Manson is twenty years her senior. The two had a ridiculously tumultuous relationship involving blood, gore, cutting and obsession and split in 2008. Although Wood claimed her relationship with Manson was “healthy and loving”, Manson went overboard with the dramatics of the breakup and admitted to cutting himself with broken glass in order to alleviate his psychosis pain. He also filmed a music video which portrayed a Wood look-alike being tortured and slaughtered after their breakup.  After their split, he also admitting his unwavering desire in “smashing in her skull with a sledgehammer.”

In January 2010, the two confirmed rumors that they were back together and up until the two being spotted in public with an engagement ring, the idea remained speculation. You can see in the photos where the couple is leaving LA’s STK restaurant while Wood surreptitiously tries to “conceal” the ring and Manson stares off into the distance like a feeble old grandpappy. Ah, a match made by Dante in heaven.

Tell me this isn’t an OJ Simpson case waiting to happen.
