A photo of Christina Aguilera

Every now and then, there’s a blind item that I can figure out. And, I’ll admit it, I get a little cocky. I’ll post the picture of the celebrity I think the blind item refers to instead of that creepy faceless picture, and I’ll talk a little more smack. And this is definitely one of those times.

This diva had a little too much to drink at a recent Halloween party. She was fine until someone brought up the name of another female artist. Our diva began mocking her rival. When someone made the mistake of coming to the rival’s defense, our diva went ballistic, and started screaming at them: “That bitch destroyed my career! Don’t you ever, EVER mention her name in front of me again!” The defender backed off, and everyone else gave the diva a wide berth for the rest of the evening.

Christina Aguilera obviously hasn’t put down the bottle yet, and she obviously still hates Lady Gaga for her own failures. It’s almost too easy.

Any other guesses?

I am so excited about Halloween, you guys. Aren’t you? Haunted houses and scary movies AND COSTUMES?! Are you kidding me? Come October 31st, I’m going to be roaming around town, dressed like a bear and trick-or-treating at my grandma’s house like the grown woman that I am. And that’s why I love this magical holiday.

Another reason? Carving pumpkins! I’ll confess, in all my Halloweens past, my carved pumpkins have been a little lacking in the creativity department (mostly because I just like the part where you get to play with all the squishy insides and pick out the seeds), but not this year. Now that I know I can style pumpkins like celebrities thanks to this beautiful gallery of Lady Gaga pumpkins, the sky is the limit. I don’t want to make any promises, but come November 1st, I might treat you to a meth-faced Lindsay Lohan pumpkin.

Are there any other pumpkins you might like to see? And, in the meantime, what’s your favorite Gaga pumpkin?

“I hope that young women know that sex is still a big deal, and they don’t have to put out soon. If they want someone to court them for a while before they give it up, that’s wonderful and beautiful, and a man will only respect you more for honouring your body. I am that way.”

So Gags is saying … what, exactly, here? That casual sex is bad? Sleeping with someone on the first or second date sucks? That a man won’t respect you after you sleep with them? What about young men? There are young men who choose to wait (or try to wait for the very same reasons), what about the idea of women pressuring young men to have sex before they’re ready? I am completely down with a man (or a woman) respecting you for honoring your body, but I’m still not quite sure where she’s going with this. I guess she could be peddling worse advice, though. There’s always that.

To answer the question posed in the headline, yes and no. “No” because nothing is official yet, but “yes” because Queen’s remaining members and perhaps Lady Gaga herself are real interested in spitting all over Freddie Mercury‘s majestic grave by getting this girl to take over. Do you feel nauseous yet? Well, hold on:

Guitarist Brian May has said that among the singers Queen’s considered to front the band, Lady Gaga is a top contender. “We get a lot of offers to work with other people,” May told Express. “I worked with Lady Gaga and she’s very creative and is someone we’ve talked about singing, fronting the band with. She’s not just a singer, she writes her own material.”And apparently Gaga is into the idea, as May noted that she confirmed “she would like to do something with us.”

I swear, if this means that Gaga will be doing classic Queen songs, I will die. I will lay down and die. If I hear Lady Gaga sing a single line from “Somebody to Love” I will cease to exist.

Do you think Lady Gaga could handle this gig? Or, more importantly, do you think anyone could even come close to filling Freddie Mercury’s shoes?

I don’t usually commend Lady Gaga for her fashion choices, but this I kind of liked. I’d never, you know, wear it myself or anything, but the Lady’s known for her outlandish costumes, and this one, well … she actually looks quite pretty, dare I say it.

What do you guys think – can’t dress up shit no matter what, or does Stefani Germanotta have this one on lockdown?

Ok, we all know that I don’t care for the girl, but if someone made a movie about Lady Gaga, I would definitely see it, if only for the costumes. Likewise, there is no way in hell that I would ever miss a good Lifetime Original. So the fact that Lifetime is working on making their very own film about Lady Gaga? This is like heaven. This is pure ecstasy.

Lifetime is developing Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story, a biopic of the famous pop star. The project, named after Gaga’s 2009 EP, is being written by Norman Snider (Casino Jack) based on Maureen Callahan’s 2010 book Poker Face: The Rise And Rise Of Lady Gaga, with Ilene Kahn Power (Lifetime’s Who Is Clark Rockefeller?) executive producing. Lady Gaga is not involved. Fame Monster chronicles the life of Stefani Germanotta, who started her musical career as a rocker and later was transformed into pop mega star Lady Gaga. The project has been heating up at the cable network and could get a green light soon.

I don’t mean to get outrageous, but I think I could see myself selling my soul to make this happen. What do you think?
