My buddy Jordan Rubin was asked by Comedy Central to host a new tech-themed online talk show called (wait for it) THE DOWNLOAD. Get it? Because we’re talking about tech and the Internet but it’s also a play on the expression “the downlow.” As in “keep it on the downlow,” not like, “hey, my wife doesn’t know I have sex with men because I’m on the downlow.” I’m just digging a hole for myself here, moving on…
Jordan asked me to be his co-host (you may remember that we used to do a podcast together) and I was mad honored, especially because our first guest was the incredibly awesome Jerry O’Connell. You may recognize his name from like, every movie ever and all those headlines a few years back when he married a supermodel, no bigs. One of my favorite parts of our interview was when we were able to get him to admit that he’s totally been on Twitter for about a year now and that he’s totally secretly into it. You can find out his handle if you watch the video.
Another pretty cool thing? Our theme song was made by none other than Money Mark from the Beastie Boys. He got all of the sounds that make up the theme by using materials he found in a junkyard like old car horns and random machines that I don’t even know the names of. Pretty rad.

Rebecca Romijn is the latest star to dawn a milk mustache in the famous campaign to promote the most popular beverage on Earth with the exception of water. What’s special about this ad though is that with her are her and Jerry O’Connell’s twin daughters, Dolly and Charlie. I don’t know if we’ve seen much of these muffins since they were born, but man! Look at those adorable, fat babies! Especially that Dolly! You could stick that baby on a dessert tray and she’d be the most edible looking thing on there. I want to shove her foot in my mouth. Is that strange? Does anyone else get the urge to eat cute babies? I think that’s a thing that people do, right?

Now that Jerry O’Connell, (probably best known for his roles in Sliders and Stand By Me) has twins with wife Rebecca Romijn, his agenda has changed quite a bit. While Rebecca works on her new series Eastwick (it’s due this fall), Jerry stays home to raise their two daughters, Charlie and Dolly. Since he’s got a bit of downtime from acting, O’Connell has decided to return to school.
Starting a couple of weeks ago, Jerry became a part-time law student at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. ”I had always planned on continuing my education at some point … and I’m home all day with the girls, I figured I would take a couple of classes at night. ”
I give him credit for deciding to complete his education; it would be so easy to just rely on his fame. I’m not sure how many more lawyers are needed in the City of Angels, but I wish him luck nonetheless!

I will never watch Sliders the same way again!
Actually, I was probably never going to watch Sliders again either way.
But still.
Jerry O’Connell was all on the red carpet last week whining about how he and Rebecca Romijn were trying to get pregnant. And guess what? She already was!
You were playing a funny joke on us, Jerry. Ha ha. That was funny. You know what else is funny? You used to be fat.
Rebecca is pregnant with twins, which were apparently conceived without any sort of fertility treatment. The babies are due in winter.
Congrats, you crazy copulating kids!

For those of you who are interested in the happy, drama-free (read: BORING) marriage of Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell, Jerry told reporters this weekend that the two of them are trying to make babies.
“We’re trying to get pregnant,” he said Saturday at the Playboy Mansion, where he showed up for Much Love Animal Rescue’s 2nd annual Bow Wow Wow event. “It would be amazing if it happened. I hope it does.”
Awww, anyone who lends their celebrity to helping animals deserves to be happy!
I love this couple, actually. I just wish they were a little more interesting.
