Welcome back to Best and Worst Celebrity Looks of the Week! Time once again to take a gander at what celebs are wearing and dub someone BEST, WORST, and WTF. My picks are at the bottom. Let’s get right to it!
Whoa there, Jena Malone. What’s going on here? What are you wearing? Is your skirt okay? And your hair, is that intentional too? I’m so confused.
It’s not that she looks bad she just looks so…weirdly 1980′s. And so not her. I guess I’m just so used to seeing the bratty little kid from Stepmom that it’s a difficult image to shake.
Is she okay though? Anyway, here are more pics of her and director M Blash at the red carpet premiere of Very Good Girls at the Deauville American Film Festival in France. I think I prefer her Hunger Games look.
The second Hunger Games film, Catching Fire, isn’t hitting theatres until November… but that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited about it now! After all, this weekend at Comic-Con, a new trailer will be released and no doubt the internet will go insane once someone uploads a shitty iPhone video of it to YouTube. If you can’t wait for all that excitement, though, you’re in luck! The new series of character posters have been released, and they’re awesome!
Just in case you forgot, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz (LOL), Sam Claflin, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone, Woody Harrelson and on and on and on. It’s gonna be good! Not as good as the books, if the first movie was anything to go by, but still totally watchable.
The one-time ingenue hit up the premiere of Tropic Thunder be-mohawked and in combat boots, and holding hands with her Ruins co-star Laura Ramsey.
We get it, Jena.
You’re hardcore. You spit in the face of authority. You totally march to the beat of your own drummer. Nobody tells you what to do. You are a free spirit.
We know because of the combat boots and the mohawk.
That’s nice, dear.
Yes, yes she does. Jena Malone and Her Bloodstains. I’m not making that up. That’s the name of the band. Doesn’t it sound more like the name of a Judy Blume novel? Are You There, God? It’s Me, Jena Malone and Her Bloodstains. Her band played at the Viper Room in Hollywood on Friday night.
Oh, and Cory Kennedy was there. I have an unhealthy obsession with Cory Kennedy. I don’t know why, or perhaps I prefer not to think about it too much.
