We already knew that this relationship was serious. I mean, I’m pretty positive that Jennifer Lopez is going to make Casper propose to her relatively soon – at the very least, before the year is through. But I think we can all agree that dog adoption is an especially serious step in any relationship, right?

There comes a time in a young man’s life when he has to decide what path he wants to take. Maybe he’ll decide to focus on his career and throw everything he has into it. Maybe he’ll decide that he wants to lead a life full of leisure. Or maybe he’ll decide that what will truly give his life meaning is having children. It’s like aspirations in the Sims – there’s just something that matters more to you than everything else.

It seems like Casper Smart, Jennifer Lopez‘s little baby boyfriend, has found his calling in life. Hint: it involves having sex and making bank.

Is anyone else a little shocked that they didn’t dress up as literal love bears? That would have been an awesome idea. They could have gotten bear suits and hot glued little hearts all over them, and then Jennifer could cling to Casper all night while he had his hand slipped in her purse. Because that’s what kind of love bears they are.

This is just awful. This past Thursday, one of our very favorite couples, Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart, celebrated their one year anniversary. Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday when we were learning what a douchebag Jennifer’s little baby boyfriend is, like no time at all has passed since we started seeing nauseating photos and hearing hilarious stories about the two of them. But it’s already been one whole year. And we know that because of this delightful exchange on Twitter.

Her whirlwind romance with Casper Smart began last Novemberas what one source close to the couple told PEOPLE was “a fun fling.”

But now, nearly a year later, could Jennifer Lopez be preparing to leave more than just her American Idol gig?

“He’s moved into her life – and a little too easily, too,” the source tells PEOPLE. “I think her family is watching him closely.”

Lopez’s possible cold front comes amid tabloid reports about Smart: One claims he visited a New York City exotic massage parlor, while another reports he was at a peep show next door. (Photographs show Smart going up a set of stairs that lead to the spa.) Lawyers for the couple call the stories “false, malicious and defamatory.”

Those rumors coincided with her 43rd birthday, which they celebrated together in the city. But although they were all smiles as they were photographed heading to lunch, the source says “she’s getting frustrated with him” and she’s increasingly “short-tempered when she’s around him.”

This is a departure from the affection they displayed when they hit the town – and, recently, in a steamy music video for her single “Dance Again” (and again in a sweet clip during her current concerts for the song “Baby I Love U”).

But as Smart continues to tour with Lopez, a breakup may not be in their near future.

“Jennifer is the kind of girl who doesn’t like to be alone,” says the source. “Until she finds a replacement, I think, he’s around.”

Look, I’m sure that Jennifer Lopez is the only person in the whole entire world who has seen Casper Smart and didn’t think “wow, Casper Smart is a jackass.” But Jennifer is a “romantic,” which means that the only thing that will truly break this spell is an even bigger jackass to come and sweep her off her feet. You remember how Justin Theroux was dating that one woman, Heidi Bivens, for 14 years when he started seeing Jennifer Aniston? They were living together, but poor Heidi found out that Justin had a new lady in his life the same time that we did. There was also a lot of talk that Justin was trying hard to achieve more fame, and he believed that a much more famous girlfriend was the way to do that. Do you remember that? Because that’s what Casper Smart did.

Or, ok, Casper did something similar. I’m pretty sure that Casper wasn’t in a relationship with his previous girlfriend for 14 years though, because I doubt his parents would have allowed him to go steady at the tender age of 11. But he did date a woman before he dated Jennifer Lopez, and that relationship did have a similar ending and similar motives.

After Aisha let Casper move into her San Fernando Valley home, the pair went through a brief rough patch. But Aisha had no idea what was transpiring right under her nose until she turned on the TV one day last November and watched in shock as she learned that Caper had moved on with J.Lo. “Aisha was really good to Casper,” notes Josh. “But he used her to get what he wanted, then left her for J.Lo.”

Ok, this source, this Josh Ayers fellow, is the same guy who started the rumor that Casper is gay. I guess both of these stories could be true – Casper is gay and has secret boyfriends on the side, but maintains relationships with successful women to further his own career – but it does seem a little fishy. I’m sure there’s a chance that Casper’s former friend is pissed and airing out all his secrets, but I think it’s always good to be a little wary in situations like this.

Then again, we all know that Casper probably isn’t the most genuine fish in the sea. I’ll guess we’ll just have to wait and see who he starts dating after Jennifer. My money’s on Steven Tyler.

Joshua Lee Ayers — a dancer at Hollywood nightclub Boulevard3, who’s worked on Glee and with artists such as Fergie, LL Cool J, Natasha Beddingfield and Ludacris — has been blasting Casper on his Twitter account.

“Check out Ur boy… And his low key homo ways,” Joshua wrote on a photo of Casper that he posted on his Twitter account in March.

In the photo, Casper is shirtless, wearing shiny gold short shorts obviously stuffed with something, a sparkly bejeweled belt, a scarf and a deer hunter hat while surrounded by other shirtless men in their underwear.

On May 24, Joshua posted another photo of Casper showing off his cheekbones with the caption: “I know what I know, Not love, a lot of business and public relations.”

Joshua and Casper appeared in the 2010 dance flick Step Up 3D together and have done several dance gigs in the past.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Lopez, 42, and estranged hubby Marc Anthonyannounced their split last July and only four months later she was openly dating her 25-year-old backup dancer boy toy.

“Casper is not gay. These comments are born from envy and jealousy,” the couple’s rep, Mark Young, told RadarOnline.com.

Honestly, I think the most ludicrous part of this whole thing is how Radar called Casper Smart “studly,” because, you know, no. Jealous of all the time she was spending away from home – and with cute Idols like Phillip Phillips – Casper urged her to quit the plum gig and focus on their relationship instead. And remarkably, J.Lo is listening. Although Jennifer tweeted on May 17 that she hadn’t “decided what I am doing next year,” sources tell In Touch that the star has already informed Idol brass that she won’t be coming back next season.

That’s how I imagine that conversation went. I don’t think Casper told Jennifer that she’s been working too much, that he was concerned that she wasn’t relaxing enough. I think Casper threw a little hissy fit, and Jennifer got him a jet ski and told him to go play with his friends while she did some grown-up work.

Then again, maybe this didn’t even happen. Maybe Casper is upset by all these rumors that Jennifer Lopez won’t be returning to American Idol next year. If she lost that sweet gig, then what would happen to his allowance?

Ok, that headline might be an exaggeration, but only slightly. Jennifer Lopez really did get a new reality show, and Casper Smart really will play a big part in it. But … um … actually, I don’t think I exaggerated at all. Get ready, everybody, because Casper Smart is going to rule the world!

E! News confirms that the Oxygen network bought Jennifer Lopez’s pitch for a reality show centered around the dancers on her tour, and yes, Casper Smart (and his bee-boy moves, we’re sure).

But it’s not all Casper all the time.

Smart is the supervising choreographer of the group, so he will be a huge part of the new reality series, but the series will focus on all the dancers as a whole and will show what goes into preparing for a tour. A tour with J.Lo, nonetheless.

A source tells us that Casper—who didn’t even push for this to happen—is very excited about the new gig and that Lopez may or may not be appearing on the show, depending on her schedule.

The series will air early next year.

Wow, I’m sure this show will be a hit. Who wouldn’t want to see little Casper Smart choreographing every week, strutting his little bottom around on television? It is insane how gorgeous this lady is. I could watch her dance around in tights all day long and just be mesmerized by her beauty. All right, I’ll tell you guys the truth: I did watch this whole video, but I had the sound off. Is this a powerful pop song? Some hip hop number? No idea. OK, so enter the weirdest, most uncomfortable-to-watch video that you’ll probably ever see Casper Smart in. The thing was done for the ‘Save the Honeybee’ campaign (a campaign with a really, really slick website, if you ask me) a few years back, and it features Jennifer Lopez‘s backup dancer boyfriend crumping – wait, no, krumping, I’m sorry – to seizure music that’s, I guess, supposed to sound like bees humming.

All I know is that it’s a damn good thing that Queen J. Lo buzzed on down and rescued Casper from his droning-ass life as a Bee-lister, bee-cause I just can’t fathom Casper bee-ing anything more than a shitty bee-ackup dancer for … never mind. I’m out of ideas, here, guys. I’m tapped. I’m out. I’m outta here, just like the honeybees.
