Anne Hathaway actually blew me away with her punk transformation for the Costume Institute Gala for the “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum (or Met Gala for short). Doesn’t she look great as a blonde? Every year celebs dress to the hilt for the event for whatever the theme is. This year, it’s punk. So keep that in mind when looking at these photos — these looks are supposed to be crazy and over the top.

Gwyneth Patlrow what in the ever loving hell is this? It’s ugly. And the gown you wore to the Iron Man premiere was way more punk than this. This whole thing is terrible. What are you even doing.

Cameron Diaz. Uh.

Jennifer Lopez. There is nothing about this that I like.

Kim Kardashian baffles me. She walks around running errands and eating lunch in sky high heels and tight leather and then for a punk themed gala she wears 1970′s living room drapes? And Kanye, are you about to conduct an orchestra? You both look stupid.

Blake Lively. Stunning woman. Boring and ugly dress for this event. It’s like you didn’t even try.

Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs. THIS is what I’ve been waiting for. This is how you do formal punk. Her bod looks killer. The dress is great for the occasion, and not too costume-y. The hair is very over the top and to that I say, well done. A+ for you, Miley. If you hate this, you and Katie Holmes should go hang out at the American Girl Store.

Rooney Mara is always a little punk, so for her this is almost boring.

January Jones. YES. My girl January ALWAYS BRINGS IT to the Met Galas. And I always bring her the love.

Michelle Obama’s Arch Nemesis Kerry Washington. Leather gloves and black taffeta stapled on the back? Really, Kerry? That was the best you could do?

Jessica Alba. WHERE ARE HER EYEBROWS? Is this purposeful? Is it just bad lighting? Can I just not see them? What the hell is happening where am I what day is it

Oh my God Kirsten Dunst, this isn’t even the right theme. You look amazing but you could have done this theme so well and instead you Gatsby’d it up. I’m so mad at you.

Sarah Jessica Parker wore some kind of…mohawk…headpiece? So points for sticking to the theme, but…Miley did it so much better. It almost pains me to say that. Almost.

And this is also as punk as we will get for Emma Watson. Okay. I accept it.

Ella Fanning got a little lost in the theme. I do love her eye makeup but the tie dye is not right. Even if the theme was tie dye. It would still be bad.

Nicki Minaj. This is like a dress you would get at Bebe for a girls’ weekend in Vegas. Do not like. She looks very pretty though.

Jessica Paré. Nooooo Megan Draper, why did you do this. You could have done something so much better.

Chloe Sevigny, I am so disappointed in you. This is so blah for you and so blah for this event. This is the kind of stuff you would wear to the Golden Globes. You’re Sevs, you gotta step it up for these occassions.

Ashley Olsen. I, uh, okay. Well it’s not boring. It’s hard to look away from. It’s intriguing. Kind of like the Tupac Hologram.

Anja Rubik. Haha. I like this. I like how strung out and Angela Bowie it is.

Julie Macklowe (“socialite”). This is a perfect example of taking the theme too far into the costume end. This is not good.

Madonna. She clearly went with the theme…and I’m not sure what I think. I need some time to think this over. And several days of meditation and soul searching.

Blake Lively made her name on Gossip Girl, but reports have been swirling that she wants nothing more to do with the show and even turned down the offer to appear in the upcoming film adaptation. Turns out, that’s a load of bullshit because she didn’t even know a Gossip Girl movie was happening. Take that, dummies!

“Blake Lively Reportedly ‘Desperate’ To Avoid Gossip Girl Movie — Her Costars Are Not Happy!” scream a headline from RadarOnline, which picked up a story from its sister outlet Star.

According to the webloid, “Lively’s fame may be attributed to her breakout role as Serena Van Der Woodsen on ‘Gossip Girl,’ but that doesn’t mean she believes that she owes her cast mates, or the hit show’s creators anything!”

Uh, huh.

The blog goes on to regurgitate that “the beautiful blonde’s former cast mates are ‘infuriated’ that the 25-year-old doesn’t want to sign on for a movie based on the television show, which ended last year.”

A so-called “source” says, “She’s being pressured on all sides to sign on, but she thinks it’s a terrible idea and is desperate to avoid the project.”

Wow, this story is nearly as dramatic as an episode of “Gossip Girl” — and even more fictitious.

Lively rep tells us the actress “was unaware there was even a ‘Gossip Girl’ movie” for her to supposedly avoid doing, and that the entire story is untrue.

Ah, the press – gotta love it. I’ve never watched Gossip Girl because I’m terrible at actively watching any TV show save for a select few, so I have no feelings either way about whether or not they make a movie. But Blake Lively might as well get on board – it’s not like she has anything else to do with her time besides being Ryan Reynolds‘ wife. And yes, that’s sarcasm.

This is Blake Lively, arriving (or leaving, I don’t know) at an airport with husband Ryan Reynolds (not pictured). And I don’t know about you guys, but either that’s a baby bump, or old girl Blake needs to work a bit on her posture, because her spine’s starting to leak out the side of her belly.

Baby bump? Not a baby bump? What is it, guys?

And speaking of caffeinated beverages and being all tired and puffy-eyed, that’s so me today, guys. I’m leaving for vacation tomorrow morning (very, very, very early tomorrow morning; I have a flight to catch at 6 AM and the airport is almost three hours away) and because I’m JUST. SO. EXCITED. about it, I wasn’t able to sleep a wink last night. And I’m not going to sleep a wink tonight, partially because I’ll still be JUST SO EXCITED, and partially because there isn’t going to be time to go to sleep, so I’m tired. I’m very, very tired and only running on adrenaline (and caffeine, too; can’t forget caffeine) and anticipation. In short? I look nowhere near as good as Blake does, even though she looks like she’s had the same kind of sleep I got last night. Life is just so unfair sometimes, you know?

Seriously, if the size of this ring is any indication of how much Ryan loves Blake (which is a silly, silly notion if I ever heard one), then boy oh boy is she in for a wonderful life. Wonder if Blake had the movie on loop or something while the brief wedding-planning process was happening, huh?

“They promised to support and love each other and to make each other laugh,” a source tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story. The groom “said he would treasure Blake; she said she would adore him. The whole time they were beaming.”

The rustic, romantic festivities – held at Boone Hall Plantation outside Charleston, S.C. – featured whimsical touches, including after-dinner s’mores and a paper-lantern send-off.

The emotional highlight of the evening, however, was when Florence + the Machine singer Florence Welch, a close Lively pal, performed “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

The Marchesa-clad bride’s eyes “started to well up,” says the source. “A lot of people started to well up, actually.”

Oh man. I’m starting to well up just reading this. Florence Welch, performing ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ at the wedding of two of the most seemingly-in-love celebrities this year? My goodness. Plus, s’mores. S’mores make me well up every single time, because they’re so damn good. And I’ll bet that these s’mores weren’t your standard, run-of-the-mill Hershey’s chocolate-filled. No, I’m willing to bet these were gourmet s’mores, and thinking of that just makes my mouth well up. With saliva.

Congratulations again, guys! Now I want pictures!

So wait, now. Let’s break this down one by one, shall we? “I’m a very shy person.” How about that one, for starters—not many shy people I know take nude photos. Because the word shy, by its very definition, means “easily frightened.” Or “disposed to avoid a certain person or thing.” Or, hey, even “secluded”, and “hidden.” And the was positively nothing secluded or hidden about Blake’s completely awesome nude leak. Some people will say, “Yeah, well, those photos were supposed to be PRIVATE, Sarah,” and to those people I say, “Not many shy people take nude photos period,” OK?

And moving on to the big family thing—I think this girl is positively lovely and beautiful, and her new husband, Ryan Reynolds isn’t all that bad, either, I suppose. If these two want to go ahead and have thirty kids, then I say by all means, go ahead and get ‘er done. Can you imagine how beautiful thirty children by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds would be? Odds are at least one of them would have to be a total Venus or Adonis.

A source confirms to PEOPLE that the couple tied the knot Sunday night at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of Charleston.

The reception took place in a white tent at the plantation on Sunday evening. Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine), a good friend of the Gossip Girl star, performed three songs live, and there was also a deejay who spun tunes. PEOPLE also confirmed that a cake was being driven down from Virginia for the event.

Lively’s mother and sister were also spotted in town, and a source told PEOPLE that the two had dinner in Charleston with Bette Midler earlier in the weekend.

Reps for the two actors had no comment.

Ok, so this really isn’t all that exciting – I think Blake Lively is pretty boring except for those nude photos that she won’t ever take again, and I don’t understand the appeal of Ryan Reynolds – but this is a little surprising, right? I mean, there’s the beautiful city of Charleston, and dinner with Bette Midler, and then a performance by Florence and the Machine? I wasn’t really thinking about this couple’s wedding, and I definitely wasn’t thinking that it would be so nice.

But hey, what do you think Scarlett Johansson is doing right now?

Blake Lively, talking about the one thing you never thought you’d hear her talk about—nudes. Or rather, nudity. Yeah, she’s still trying to convince us that she’s only ever slept with, like, ONLY TWO DUDES I PROMISE, but these more recent interviews are definitely way more tolerable than, say, the ones where she’s talking about wanting “tranny” children and, like other actresses, being a professional letter-writer instead of famous or whatever. I think it’s nice that she and Ryan seem to be settling in together, and at least one of them is thinking about marriage. I guess it’s a start, right?

The couple, who were first linked late last year, “bought a beautiful country home” in Bedford, N.Y., a source tells PEOPLE.

And it’s not too shabby. “The house cost more than $2 million,” the source said of the property.

So it’s serious, then, huh? These two are settling down, walking dogs together, taking self pictures, and now they’re purchasing real estate together. I guess it’s a good thing. Now they can stop the constant displays of public affection (not that I personally mind; I think it’s rather cute), but for the sake of sad, sad Scarlett Johansson, it’s probably better that they have four walls to hide behind and call a home so they can do what they feel is necessary to further their blossoming love. Until Sean Penn realizes the error of his ways and invites girlfriend back into his home, his life, and by virtue, his pants, then she’s going to be treading in some pretty sensitive waters. Poor girl.

But let’s back up a bit here. See, Blake did an interview with Elle, and that’s where she talked about things like how many men she’s slept with, dates, shoes, and, yes, having tranny babies. HER WORDS.

There are so many things.  I think we’ve adequately discussed the tranny bit.  What I want to talk about is how the hell Blake is 24 years old and has never been on a date?  I get it, first dates are awkward (my first date with the dude who I’m now engaged to was bananas: we went to see a movie, but we didn’t check the times so we ended up having three hours to kill. We drove around for a while and talked, and then we had sushi, which he dropped on his lap. The waitress asked if he needed children’s chopsticks. Then when he took me home, the puppy was so excited to greet us, except she had a bra in her mouth. Bananas), but seriously? Zero dates ever?

I don’t know, I guess I don’t actively dislike Blake Lively, but does anyone have any evidence that she’s at all interesting? Boobs don’t count.
