Alanis Morissette‘s former nanny is having her own “you oughta know” moment. Bianca Cambeiro is suing Morissette and her husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway for not paying her overtime or letting her take breaks for food during her 12-hour shifts. She’s here to remind them of the mess they left when they went awaaaaay. Here are some juicy details from People:
… according to court documents filed on Thursday, that the couple never paid her overtime or allowed her to take meal or rest breaks during her regular 12-hour shifts while caring for the couple’s son Ever three to four days a week.
The documents state that Cambeiro, who started working for the couple in August 2011 at their Brentwood, Calif., home for $25 an hour, asked Morrissette’s accountant in January 2012 why she wasn’t being paid overtime, and he said, “We don’t do that.”
Cambeiro claims she was prohibited from leaving the bedroom of the baby – who was born on Christmas Day 2010 – while the child was sleeping until and unless one of the parents were in the room or until the day shift nanny arrived to relieve her.
Cambeiro wants $100,000 in damages. If this is all true, I’m siding with the nanny. “We don’t do that”? Are you effing kidding me?? Screw you, Alanis. Don’t skimp out on the person you hire to take care of your kid. That’s Sharon Stone behavior.

That was yesterday. I just discovered further evidence.
These pics were taken on May 17 at the Prince of Persia premiere, before her tiny, quiet wedding to a man she’s been dating less than a year.
Her grin is the only thing bigger than her giant, prego breasts and her giant, prego-concealing dress.
I’m happy for her. She looks gorge.
After, like, eight failed engagements to Ryan Reynolds, Alanis Morrissette has finally found true, free-stylin’ love — she got married on May 22 to some rapper called Souleye. I honestly have no idea whether that’s pronounced “soul eye” or “sol-ay,” but either way his real name is Mario Treadway and I’m sure he’s a very nice person. (Why does “souleye” seem like a euphemism for anus?)
The couple married in a small ceremony at their home in Los Angeles, and their rep just confirmed the news today. They’ve been dating since 2009, which is actually a fairly quick engagement/wedding.
On June 1, her birthday, Alanis posted the following on her Facebook:
“Thank you guys so much for your sweet birthday well-wishings….getting older has turned out to be better than i imagined…things getting softer and clearer and juicier and and and….
Ohhhhh Alanis, you’re soooo deep. Softer AND clearer AND juicier. I’m playing this game in my head where I try to identify a real-world item that can do all those things at the same time, and all I can come up with is a corpse.
Also: Alanis is probably pregnant.
Video of MC Souleye freestylin’ is after the jump.
Hi y’all! I know I was MIA last week — I took a much-needed vacation, and I can’t thank Wendie and Kelly enough for doing such an incredible job in my absence. I’d be lost without those two. But I’m back now, and I have a lot to say about a lot of the things that have been going on, but up first: Alanis Morrissette.
Apparently Alanis figures that if Scarlett Johansson can step in on her ex-fiance and release an album, the least she can do is invade one part of Scarlett’s world: acting. Alanis is already slated for a role in the upcoming Lindsay Lohan oeuvre, The Other Side, and now it looks like she landed a guest spot on Weeds, too. Starting July 20, she’ll be playing Nancy’s no-nonsense clinic obstetrician Dr. Audra Kitson for a seven-episode arc. A pic of her in the role is above.
