Honestly, you really did say that two years ago when you announced you were quitting The Tonight Show. Too bad there’s enough trolls with two year old episodes of your crappy show DVR’d in the world to call you out. Sounds like you’re singing a very different tune now, though. Sucks you had to turn Team CoCo against you in the process, man. Hope the new show goes great!
I’m not Leno fan, but heard that NBC forced him out of the Tonight Show at the time, so he may just have said this to be diplomatic, when deep down, he may have been seething at not having the show anymore. So I wouldn’t use this words as something to indicate that’s what he really meant at the time. From what I’ve read about the guy, he’d have gone along with NBC at the time, but sure as hell plotted for a comeback.

I don’t hope his show does good. Actually, i hope it goes to hell, and the sooner the better.
And don’t get me wrong, i dislike Leno as much as i dislike Connan, and i don’t watch those shows anyway, but i just think that what Leno did is absolutely wrong, and unprofessional.
Saddest thing is, a lot of people likes Leno, so maybe his show will do good, but i really hope it doesn’t, and i hope he can learn a very good lesson. You don’t give someone a job and than take it away just because you got more power and know more people, and it’s not even like he needs the money! It’s bullshit.
Speaking of money, you do know that Conan got $30 or 40 mil, right? When’s the last time you had that much $?
