Miss California Pageant Officials Engage in Tit For Tat Battle

Carrie Prejean, Donald Trump

Carrie Prejean, fallen beauty queen, decided to sue the Miss California pageant as she felt she was unjustly fired even though she refused to appear at events that her job required her to attend.  Personally, I think “I don’t wanna” is a perfectly logical and acceptable excuse to not perform your job, though the courts may not see it the same way.

Well now the Miss California pageant officials are fighting back.  In a cross-complaint filed in response to Prejean’s suit, they are looking to be reimbursed the $5,200 they paid for Carrie’s breast augmentation.  Why did I think boobs cost a lot more than that?  Maybe the pageant gets some sort of frequent buyer discount.  Bargain basement boobs.

I bet Ms. Prejean is wishing that she just walked away gracefully with her free bolt-ons instead of opening up this battle that she’s sure to lose.

  • I just hope this whole ridiculous issue gets resolved soon so we can stop hearing about it. She really did screw herself over by being a brat, though.

  • Yah, good boobs cost more than that. They probably got saline ones that are harder and better match her bobblehead.

  • I can’t believe that the pageant rules allow them to provide free cosmetic surgery to contestants! Doesn’t that mean that they are compromised as an organization? What if every contestant wanted unlimited free surgery?

I think that she should take the high road and have the implants removed and hand them back to them – maybe they can reuse them on the next vain, fake-looking, mean-spirited young woman who wants to have her ten minutes of fame.

I guess she’ll become another privileged, self-rightous, wealthy self-promotor with an attitude of martyrdom who promotes bigotry, and is unsympathetic to those who face real life-and-death struggles just to live an ordinary life.

Maybe she just wants her parents to forget that they are both gay and go back to providing her with a “normal” family. Although she’s entitled to her opinion, of course.

  • I completely disagree. Sure, I think she’s an idiot and I don’t share her beliefs. Probably not a single one. But the fact that she was driven away from her job by public and private harassment for speaking her voice and sharing her opinion is a disgrace, and women everyone shouldn’t have it. What century is this? People’s opinions are their own. She didn’t say she hated gays. What the hell happened to free speech, liberal left?

  • She didn’t lose her job because she stated her opinion on gay marriage. She lost it because she broke the terms of her contract by failure to comply with the schedule that they gave her.

She also broke the terms of the competition itself by lying about having posed semi-nude.

The gay marriage issue is one that she simply is using to hide her lack of honesty and professionalism behind. After all, it sounds a lot better to say that you are being persecuted over a contentious issue than that you lied and broke your contract and failed to perform your job to your employers satisfaction.

  • It’s a free country and she can say what she wants regarding same sex marriages. I mean this is America she’s entitled to her opinions.
The thing I’m more upset about are these fake boobs.
