My thoughts exactly. And if she told reporters she didn’t want to discuss it, this string of comments would be about how she’s bitter about being alone. It’s seemed pretty clear to me that she wants to move on, the media won’t let her, so she’s saying she’s at least resigned to the image they insist on foisting upon her at every turn.
If she consistently said something like: “I really would rather not talk about that anymore. It’s in the past and I’m happy with my life. I wish Brad the best of luck, too. I’m really excited about what I’ve got going on, espeically [insert project name here]” it would be avoided. She’s sound mature and as if she moved on. She’s not a victim to the media. She can decline to answer in a professional, polite manner. I’m sure any PR person could help her with that.

I think she has moved on nicely, its the media that won’t let it go! If she chose not to answer, then the Brangaloonies would say she went home and cried all night thinking about Brad, this girl can’t win no matter what she does or doesn’t do.

How do you know that? And regardless, that’s not the issue. She can be a Rhodes Scholar, that’s not the point. The point is, she needs to stop playing the victim; she needs to move on. Answering questions about the break up is NOT moving on. They keep asking those questions because she keeps answering them. Now that I think of it, THAT doesn’t sound too smart.
If a woman who has her success, meets more men in a month than most of us will meet in a year, or 5 years can’t find happiness or a mate she’s probably just too miserable to be around. It’s said she is very insecure and needy, suffocating is another word I have heard describe her. Healthy men want healthy women, not someone who has to be propped up 24/7. My guess is she’s not very lonely but milking this for all it’s worth, she only looks like an unhappy fool.
Plus she’s a god awful actress. Her movies are unwatchable as far as I can tell. Over paid, over rated. If she’s sad it’s because it’s her choice to be sad. I bet Brad left her like the house was on fire, can’t say I blame him one bit either.

i saw her at the santa monica farmers market not too long ago and she actually looks AMAZING in person. she had no makeup on and looked very young and natural.
on the other hand i saw megan fox at smashbox studios (where i work) and she looked haggard and old…just as a comparison.

and do you have any idea how difficult it is to transition from tv to film in this town? do you know how few roles there are for women 36 and older? it doesnt last forever and its ruthless and its hard work.
like her or not she has had a great career, won emmys, golden globes. she has made quite a few very successful films.
she should be judged on her body of work not her personal life.
