That picture is so… offensive, to the image of woman, it encourages, the idea, that woman, are stupid, plastic blow up dolls, with no brains, even if some of them are, it’s still wrong. and that’s an opinion from a guy!

HA!! That perfomance is the ONLY reason I have decided that I like Kara. She DID make “bikini girl” look stupid. And I’m glad she did it! This girl needed to be put in her place. She’s so damn egotistical. I can’t stand her. I still have AI on my DVR just so I can go back and watch he get what was coming. Needless to say I HATE that girl.
You also have to admit that it was mean. To put the girl on the most popular show on TV and blindside her wasn’t exactly the nice thing to do.
Of course! The producers of American Idol also forced her to audition in the bikini in the first place, be a total bitch, kiss Ryan full on the mouth, and sing like a strangled giraffe. Oh, and they also forced her to stand there while Kara was singing and look like she would totally shank that judge if the cameras weren’t on.
It’s called karma and I’ve heard it comes around. Oh, and it’s damn funny too.
that was hands-down the BEST moment of the season. that girl got what was coming to her and Kara has class out the wazoo over that biotch. i’m surprised idol was ok with pulling something like that but i’m proud of them for standing up for Kara [or letting her do it herself]. =D
i thought it was tasteless. you dont invite someone on a show and then blindside them. that was WRONG and done at the the expense of that girl and her family and friends. plus i think she sounded good too!

Simon’s and Randy’s reaction was that of joy. That girl thought she was more knowledgeable about music than a top music producer. Who’s lyrics do you think that dumb bikini girl sings when she drives her car to work every day? I’ll tell you who’s lyrics. Kara’s lyrics. That’s what Kara does for a living. She writes songs that people like Katrina Darrell are capable of understanding. And by the way. Kara sounded 10 times better than Katrina. Literally 10 times better. And I’m being unbiast.
i thought that was planned! it was hysterical. this girl is being a spoiled sport. she should be lucky they even let her on the show.
For me it was one of the highlights of the show. And I didn’t think it came across as mean spirited at all on Kara’s point. She put her arm around her, and she seemed to be projecting an “it’s all in good fun” spirit.
Kara sang way better, so that made bikini girl look bad, but that’s her own fault. And that’s part of AI – showcasing a lack of talent. Plus, IMHO, bikini girl’s nasty retort that makes her come across as the bitter hater. Didn’t get that from Paula or Kara.
This wasn’t unprecedented. The did the same thing with Clay Akin and some kid who looked like him. Granted there was no animosity between those two, but still — similar stunt.
It made Kara look desperate.

The girl is an idiot to think that she was invited on the show for her “talents”(both of them) and her voice…she should be happy that her 15 minutes got extended to 20 and that she is again being talked about…Try to tell me she is not going to be able to cash in some more on this.
