Anna Faris Is Getting Fat for Her Wedding

Now HERE’S some refreshing news: Anna Faris, who’s getting married this summer to actor Chris Pratt (no relation to the Douchepratt), says rather than starve herself in preparation, she’s eating more.

“I am fattening it up!” she confessed when asked if she’ll be changing her workout routine for the big day. “Now that I have a man, I’m like, ‘Oh, I don’t have to try anymore! Now I can eat. We love to splurge at home. We love to cook. My fiancé is an incredible eater, and so he’s really fun to feed, and it’s great to share some wine and watch a movie. He’s always like, ‘Baby, don’t lose that butt!'”

Oh whatever. Like Anna Faris has a butt. Also this is the same girl whose face completely changed, Audrina-style, somewhere around 2007. So I’m not entirely sure I’m buying into the I-love-me-for-me argument she’s presenting here.

The cool thing here is that I’ve FINALLY heard of this dude she’s marrying — he’s in the new Amy Poehler show, Parks & Recreation (which is actually really really good if you haven’t seen it). He plays Andy, the loser, broken-legged boyfriend of Rashida Jones’ character. Hopefully he’ll end up being more stable for Anna — she dumped her last husband, another unknown actor, in April 2007.

  • That’s awesome. I’ve always dug her… she just seems like a down-to-Earth, sweet chic that would make you feel comfortable around her.

  • i do like anna, she seems sweet and genuine. but i’ve gotta disagree, that parks&recreation show is AWFUL! i wanted to like it so bad because i love amy poehler, but it’s almost as bad as 30 rock is good!

    • When I was reading your comment at first I just saw “but it’s almost as bad as 30 Rock” AND I JUST ABOUT LOST IT. But then I kept reading. Yes! Parks & Rec is terrible! It was supposed to be The Office Spinoff but that still doesn’t explain why they made Amy EXACTLY like Michael Scott. I watched 2 episodes with high hopes… and I won’t watch it again until I know there is a major writer/director change.
At least 30 Rock never disappoints.

      • I thought the pilot was pretty boring, but I watched the next two episodes on hulu, and they were a lot better.

oh and 30 rock is amazing. I finally started watching it this season and got addicted.

    • I don’t think Parks & Recreation is all that terrible. I kinda like it. But it’s nothing compared to 30 Rock because…well, nothing is.

  • Chris Pratt was in Everwood, a TV show that was on for about four years a few years ago. I loved his character. He was a pretty big supporting actor in the show too, imo.

    I think she’s adorable.

  • He was on Everwood, and he also was the co-worker of James McAvoy in Wanted. The one who screwed his girlfriend.

  • “Now that I have a man, I’m like, ‘Oh, I don’t have to try anymore! Now I can eat.”

um.. I am totally not going to cheer this behavior. It sounds pretty pathetic.

  • I could only do 10 minutes of Parks and Rec and had to turn it off. It was so bad that I could not even make it thru half of the first show. I figured it was a new style of humor that just did not click with me.

  • HEEEEEEEEEEEy that’s che from the OC he was the best character EVER… anyone remember his awesome songs!?
